Other than that it’s pretty good. 0 Reply Pantheist [ Back Up ] 10 years ago that contradicts the definition of love. love is the ability to care for others. Love is caused by certain biochemicals in the brain. it’s not a force 0 Reply Free at last 10 years ago Absolutely. And it’s supposed to be a fun and prosperous journey that never ends. How delightful is that? 0 Reply walter e 10 years ago no it is a continuum for creativity and this earth will always be a kindergarten for the dull of mind as well as a paradise for those living in a peaceful soul 0 Reply Lindylou 10 years ago Instead of evolving we should just take care of our selves and our families on a day to day basis. It is not always love that makes the difference, there are all kinds of love. It is respect for each other that will change us. 0 Reply Sweet Suzy 777! 10 years ago Yes Almighty God of the Holy Bible, is love. 0 Reply NewlyBorn 10 years ago Is that God? You don’t seem to read the Bible! Since the Bible God that the Priestly Bible writers put together loves the sweet aroma of burned sacrifices from day zero since Creation, they came up with a better sacrifice idea after the big flop of Abraham’s failure to sacrifice his son Isaac! They dreamed up the most notorious human sacrifice of a young virgin girl that God ever enjoyed watching, and specially smelling with his Holy Nostrils. It was the sacrifice by fire of the young virgin daughter of Jephthah who was hardly a teenager! Preachers deny her fate in the Bible stories, let alone discuss the issue of human sacrifices that only God Molech would enjoy. Surprisingly, the Bible God Jehovah enjoys them, too! Judges 11:39-40 (NIV) After the two months, she returned to her father and he did to her as he had vowed* (*she was sacrificed by fire to the LORD God Jehovah, as promised —Judges 11:31. God must have enjoyed the “sweet aroma” of the burning flesh of a young virgin girl of Israel). And she was a virgin. From this comes the Israelite custom that each year the young women of Israel go out for four days to commemorate* (*not to celebrate any virginity like some preachers claim, but to commemorated somebody burned by fire!) the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite* (*Christians have a way of explaining away, or ignoring anything that is detrimental to the Christian faith in the Bible!). The preachers are also warning to be careful what you vow to God! If Jephthah would have loved his ONLY little daughter he would have interceded with God at the moment of delivery, but he didn’t! If he was so serious about fulfilling a crazy promise like that to God, he should have died in her place, too! The Bible writers were very careful to show that promises to God are always a serious matter of life or death! BTW, Jephthah made it into the list of Venerable Heroes of the Christian Faith (Heb 11:32) We also have the example of Ananias and Sapphira in the NT that promised to bring so much money to the Church, and when they did they short changed God, so God the Holy Ghost zapped them on the spot (Acts 5:1-11)! In the story of Jephthah, the Priestly Bible writers couldn’t care less. They enjoyed writing about the little girl slaughtered by slashing her throat and draining her blood to sprinkle the Altar of God and the officiating Priest with it, like the Law of God says to do before having her burned by fire on the Altar of God (1 Pet 1:2) spiritually speaking, of course! In the case of the daughter of Jephthah the officiating Priests were having an orgy of bloody fun sprinkling her warm blood on their bodies and on their Holy garments like when they sacrifice an animal like a ram. Not all of it may be applicable in her case, but considering that she is not an animal, but a human being, the bloody ceremony must have been much more sophisticated! Current Church ceremonies are often derived from these primitive burned sacrifices. Exodus 29:20-21 (KJV) Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him. Can you imagine the powerful hallowed pageantry of the whole sacrifice of Jephthah’s daughter, especially when the Priest of God would pour the booze offering on the Altar of God while the girl’s body is burning on the fire? No Hollywood movie ever came near to such an intense kinky Bible drama, spiritually speaking, of course! Numbers 28:7 (NIV) The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of FERMENTED DRINK (KJV “strong wine”) with each lamb* (*or child, spiritually speaking, of course!) POUR OUT THE DRINK OFFERING TO THE LORD at the sanctuary. Jephthah felt forced to go on with the sacrifice, otherwise his enemies would have laughed at him. Christians don’t give a hoot, but the JWs are in total denial that their God Jehovah goes for children sacrificed by fire, like the ones done to God Molech (Lev 18:21)! Some more educated fundamentalist Christians are fully aware that Jesus is going to kill all the children of the wrong Church brand. They are discreetly waiting with fear and the creeps refusing to believe that Jesus would do anything like that at his coming some day soon! Revelation 2:23 (NIV) (Jesus says) I WILL STRIKE HER CHILDREN DEAD. Then ALL THE CHURCHES WILL KNOW that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds* (*bully Mafia talk!). Christianity is about one of the major most immoral religions in the world! It is still marketable because hardly anybody reads the Bible any more! I had to run away from Christianity! I was not like the preachers who only give out friendly advice on how to get rich and healthy pleasing the Bible God while they are totally unconcerned about what the Bible really says on any controversial issue. Most preachers hope that when they get to Heaven God will clarify all the stuff that they don’t understand in the Bible. If there is such thing as karma, a lot of religious people ought to pay dearly for inventing Judeo Christianity, not to mention Islam! 0 Reply Alter Man 10 years ago Yes because god/goddess is love and only through becoming love in the Image of god/goddess can humans achieve their full potential 0 Reply Nurop Shnup 10 years ago No that is only one aspect. In your search you will find that Love is not the only force…like it or not I didn’t ask for it or want it that way Just is “Love may be the most important binding force to YOU” and that is not a bad thing BUT…. in the end all your searching and pondering will lead you to this question What is important ? 0 Reply Related What does it mean when others see your spirit guide?
