I can answer from a Christian perspective: God can eradicate an individual consciousness being omnipotent, but He doesn’t.
There really aren’t any individual consciousnesses anyway. We’re all shards and slivers of the greater, all encompassing consciousness of God.
Human consciousness can obviously be destroyed by God, Now can Gods own consciousness be destroyed and if it could then God would cease to exist so that is a better question.
Nope, that is the first thing that goes, then the brain starts to lose links and cell death continues. IF they revive you too late, you will be a vegatable. If they don’t revive you, every part of the you that you know goes away.
(Psalm 146:3-4) 3Â Do not put YOUR trust in nobles, Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. Â 4Â His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish.
The only hope is for the benefit of the ransom of Jesus Christ. He will bring us back, just like he did his friend Lazarus.
No God can do all things.
Sure, after all, he is make-believe
