Is doing Yoga a good way to lose weight?

I’m overweight and I’ve been thinking of starting Yoga and I was just wondering if it’s a good way to lose weight? Serious answers only please.


  1. no. it’s not a good way to lose weight. it does not increase your heart rate enough to start the metabolic process of fat cell cumbustion

  2. No. Stretching will only make you more flexible, but it is highly unlikely to help you lose weight. Some people say it does, but I’ve only found the skinny people who do yoga were always skinny anyway.
