I’m ready to dedicate myself as a wiccan eclectic witch, can I have a great self-dedication ritual?

I’m ready to dedicate myself as a wiccan eclectic witch, but i can’t afford the right tools, can anyone give me an idea of a ritual or let me know what ritual would be right for me? And please be serious and not rude!

If you think you need to buy/own tools to dedicate yourself to the gods of Wicca, perhaps more time and study (developing an understanding) is in order before you actually dedicate.

Your self-dedication ritual should be personal to you and it can be as elaborate as you like, but no tools are *necessary* other than yourself, your mind, your heart, and your will.

If you think tools are a requirement, I honestly don’t think you’re ready to dedicate yourself yet. moreover, Wiccan ritual is about what is meaningful and useful to you. Performing a random ritual recommended by someone else doesn’t mean anything. The ritual doesn’t *do* anything. It’s a statement of faith.

Substitute. The walls aren’t going to bleed and the floor won’t crack open revealing pits of fire, nor is lightning going to strike you down for substituting an athame for a wand, incense for a feather, or water for a seashell.

Tools are merely that…TOOLS, they AREN’T mandatory. Substitution is perfectly acceptable. If you don’t have something either use something else, or omit it altogether.

You really don’t need anything other than salt and a scented oil. Run a bath and add a frew drops of the oil and a tablespoon or so of salt. If you don’t have a tub take a shower and add the oil and salt to a wash cloth. Take your time cleansing your body and releasing any mundane daily troubles. When you are clean and relaxed, dress in whatever clothes you feel appropriate. Take your oil and go to a wild place where you feel safe. If this is not possible at least find a place where you can… Read more »

But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore it is said, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is he who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work… Read more »
