If Christianity was the only way, why does God create people in remote areas of the world?

Such as the Aboriginies in Australia, the remote areas of Tibet, the history of the Natives in the Americas, and the African tribes, all who have practiced a wide variety of different beliefs, such as shamanism, hollistic medicine, all of them who likely have no concept of Christianity nor the idea of some personal savior whatsoever.
I’d say Christianity is a POSSIBILITY, but the belief that it can be the only way and anyone who doesn’t follow will be going to hell sounds ludicrous if these remote people, majority of whom are very spiritual, just went to hell just for where they were born or taught.
Again I’m NOT putting down Christianity nor people who follow that belief system, but this question is posed for those who believe its the “only way”.
Steve N and Miss Angie- good points!
What about the days before missionaries and their ancestors?
Missionaries only started coming around in the 15, 1600s
Has different plans for those who know little? Not only is that calling these people “stupid” or “narrow”, but its saying that there’s no one path. If that is so, then why is your path so correct because you “know more”. Its sounding like your thinking outside of the box yet NOT thinking so. These kind of answers are real interesting….

  1. I agree with you, how can you say all of them are going to hell, when Christianity hardly exists there? Honestly, it can’t be the only way.

  2. Its not so much Christianity as Christ Himself Who is the only Way to the Father – so many who don’t hear much about Jesus Christ’s appearance in the flesh and what he said then can accept the Truth of God Who is Jesus but not with a knowledge of that name ‘Jesus’ or ‘Yeshua’ as being the incarnate Truth…

  3. Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel for that very reason. This is what we are doing. I tell you the truth I would rather be an Aboriginal in Australia who never had the opportunity to hear the gospel on the day we stand before God, then a person who has heard it over and over and still rejects it.

    • Amen I totally agree. Jesus is the way and the light and a believers job is to disciple and preach the great commission. If we only had more people to be missionaries we could reach those remote areas of the world. A true believer does not condemn but enlightens. There is no such thing as religion, the bible gives u all that is needed for true salvation.

  4. God wants them to seek out the truth. God provides ample opportunity’s for all. That is why the Bible is the number 1 best seller. The Bible is all over the world, more than any other book. That is why God made missionary’s.

  5. Clearly to give the Christian’s something to do, like creating programs that say “convert to Christianity, get food, clothing, medicine and education, don’t and burn in hell”.
    Good gig.

  6. anyone who thinks that is an ignorant, narrowminded, moron.
From an outside perspective, no one can conclude that one religion is “more correct” than another, its all personal preference.
But since Christianity is all about conversion, Christians think they are entitled to condemn anyone who doesnt believe in their mythology.
If there is a god, its not like the Christian god, or if it was like the Christian god, then its an absolute asshole

Watteau, Helen Keller became an atheist. She had a very high IQ.
“One of the benefits of education is tolerance.” – Helen Keller

  8. You know the story of the girl who was born deaf and blind? I forget her name, but when they finally taught her how to communicate with others they started to tell her about God. Before they could go into detail, the explained she had always known there was something but didn’t know what to call it until they told her the truth about Jesus. Hence, everyone knows inside them there is a God and we seek this truth out. Eventually, we either accept that truth or reject it. Don’t worry about how God is going to get to those people. God loves everyone. It says in the Bible where little is known little is required. Those remote people know very little, therefore, little will be required of them to get into heaven. Now you, however, know a lot about God and here you are saying Christianity is a possibility. You know a lot, and therefore, more is required of you if you want to get into heaven. With fear and trembling, work out your own salvation. You can either accept Christ or not accept him. All it takes is simply believing in him as your savior, and when you do, God’s grace allows you into heaven. His grace, not your works, get you into paradise. If you could earn your way through good deeds you’d boast about it. So God has made sure you couldn’t do that by giving you his grace, which is much easier and simplier. What’s so hard about that? It’s how the thief on the cross got into heaven.

  9. First, your base belief is wrong throwing off all that follows. God did not create anyone except for Adam & Eve. All those in remote places went there on their own, or rather their ancestors did.
We know from geology the continents were closer together once. Pressure has caused them to drift. This is basic science.
The ancestors simply walked to Australia. American natives walked across between Siberia and Alaska, now only 29 miles of ocean which once was dry.
God judges heart condition or how we truly feel. He does not judge harshly when we do not have the needed things to begin with.

  10. if your question is why does god create people who will never even hear of jesus, so because they never heard of jesus and they dont believe they would go to hell, is that your question?\
people live all over the world either because god gave life to people lioving there or they moved there and started a large “ISLAND family” God has a special way to deal with those kinds of people who have never heard about Jesus or people who never really knew about him or was introduced to him
and when those people die God has a special way to deal with them i dont know what it is but you can be sure thatr he just doesnt send them to hell
i know the plans i have for you declares the lord
    jeremiah 29:11

  11. First of all God created the first man and woman and from then on they were born of women. These people that you talk about took themselves to all the remote places. Was there any other religion like Christianity that instructed the people to go to all the world, every country and teach the word of God. They are no longer so remote that the word of God has not reached them. But to those that have never heard of God or his word. They will be resurrected and be told and then they will be given the chance to believe.
Just for the Record, I believe that Adam and Eve would have been in the middle of no where by your standards, since no one existed at that time except them.

  12. Christianity started just with the Jews originally and it is spreading everywhere. There are Jehovah’s Witnesses that are in remote parts of the world and preaching the ‘good news’. You have to think that if Christianity is from God, then he’s able to cause it to be preached everywhere.
Also, the Bible doesn’t teach about hell. That is a mistranslation of the words ‘Sheol’, ‘Hades’, ‘Gehenna’, ‘Tartarus’, and a fiery torment for people doesn’t exist.
    Matthew 24:14
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

  13. Because originally it was NOT supposed to be like this- We were all supposed to be very close with God, have a perfect relationship with him, and all speak the same language, but as soon as the fall of mankind by the fruit of the tree that Eve and Adam ate, God had thrown them out, therefore cursing mankind for what they had done, That is why there are different languages to. If we would have followed his rule NOT to eat of the tree, Life would have been wonderful. And none of us would be taught about another so called “god” in another country, or anything, it all stems from the fall of mankind.
The next thing is, The Bible clearly states that NO MAN has ANY excuse whatsoever for not accepting Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, But heres the thing- For those people in remote parts of the country that may have never heard of Christ, they MAY worship like some Indian tribes did and worship something called “The Great Spirit”, because “The Great Spirit” from study it may be quite possibly our Christian God(most likely is, some have even been reported as mentioning of a man, a son of gods who came to earth to die for us), and just because they didn’t hear of Christ beforehand, and didn’t know of him (most tribes anyway) they were still accepting Christ by extension because Jesus and God are one in the same- see what I mean? At least, that is how I perceive it.
Also, If you are a Christian, You are technically an evangelist- No, you don’t need a license for it- you just need to know the Lord- Look at Paul and the rest of the disciples, none of them had degrees, and they were all scummy people, thieves, tax collectors and whatnot, and they went out and spread the word of God far and wide- Now being a Christian, we are like the modern day disciples, and our job is to spread the word of God as much as we can until our passing day from the earth, SO, if any don’t accept, it is purely on the Christians hands who didn’t try as hard as they should have to spread the loving testimony of Christ, BUT there are a select few who go to TONS of different countries and give out bibles, spread the word of the Lord, and therefore, most accept,
BUT NOW that those people in other countries accept, it is their job to get off their butts and spread the word to their friends- and it spreads far and wide, but only if people will do their job as a child of God and spread the word and testify, so honestly, EVERY man is without excuse because of this- you can ALWAYS find out about Christ, someone in each country knows about GOD, I guarantee it, what with Christian workers overseas spreading the word and some in those countries taking it as their new belief, It is everyones job who knows of Christ to tell the world, and if you don’t, you will have to answer for it come judgment day.
    Hope this helps.
    God Bless You!!!!!

  14. This is a very good question. You can be absolutely sure that whatever judgement God makes will be totally fair. My belief is that anyone who has not had a fair chance to learn the truth and accept the Lord Jesus as their saviour during their life will have another chance when they are resurrected to physical life after the millenial rule of Christ on earth. Some parts of the book of revelation would imply this.
Only those who, after a fair chance, finally reject Jesus will go to hell. Hell will not be a place of eternal torment as it has been depicted by the church, but it will be “the second death” from which there is no resurrection and no awareness in death. If you read the bible with an open mind you will see that this is so.
Christianity is the only way, but those who refuse to take it will not be punished forever.

  15. I was for sure someone would mention that Tower of Babel rubbish….that story goes like some dudes where building a tower..God got all drama queenish, then he kicked their tower over like a child kicks a sand castle, and he picked them up like ants and spread them all over the world, and made every one talk different, taking away their ability to re-learn their original language. But if you ask me, I’ll say Pangaea is when all the continents in the world where actually together before they drifted apart and formed their own separate countries.

  16. Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other belief teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other belief offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) — the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Fortunately for us, God is not fair. Fairness would mean that everyone got exactly as he or she deserved and everyone would be treated the same. If God were completely fair, we would all spend eternity in hell paying for our sin, which is exactly what we deserve. We have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23) and are therefore worthy of eternal death (Romans 6:23). If we received what we deserve, we would end up in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14-15). But God is not fair; instead, He is merciful and good, so He sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross in our place, taking the punishment that we deserve (2 Corinthians 5:21). All we have to do is believe in Him and we will be saved, forgiven, and receive an eternal home in heaven (John 3:16).
As far as the people in the remote areas of the world who have no concept of Christianity nor the idea of “some personal savior whatsoever”, I would say that God is merciful and good. We will NEVER know what God is thinking. There are some things about God we weren’t meant to know neither the limits of His mercy nor the reason as to why many peoples do not know of Him or Jesus Christ in those remote places. But that has changed. Christian Missionaries are all over the world proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and salvation even to those people in remote areas of the world. My friend, I hope this helps.
    God bless!!!

  17. The word Christianity is too abstract. It could mean a whole bunch of things, depending who you ask. What it boils down to is who Jesus the first century Jewish rabbi who was crucified by Roman soldiers is. Is he the Lord of all? Is he the way to God? Secondly, if he is Lord of all, and he has opened God’s heart to humanity, then he is present everywhere. So if someone has heard the truth about him that person needs to choose to either worship him or reject him. If a person has not heard this good news of who the Lord Jesus is and what he has done for us, the logic in Romans 1 suggests, God knows each individual’s heart: whose heart is open to his crucified and risen Son; and whose heart is closed, and that is how God will judge the world.
