I need guidance. I feel drained of my life energy, I want to feel a passion for life again.?

I know that things like this happen before a major shift in your life. At the moment, I feel weak, tired, I feel like I have lost my spiritual connection to God. I feel isolated, I cant talk to my friends or family or my partner. I want to live my best life. I want to feel a connection to God again. I want to feel happy, healthy and I want to step outside myself and do something for others. I want to do something big but I cant seem to make the first step.. Why am I feeling trapped? What is the next step?
Thanks for the reply’s guys, some sensitive, some insensitive, some neutral, some judgements, some really positive ones that really helped.
I know that what I am feeling is temporary and its making me think alot about what i should do with my life.. Im trying to work with what I am feeling and move closer to being a better human being. I really need that great push of energy to move my forward, i dont know if its depression, insecurity, my introvertedness that is not letting me move forward.

  1. The truth is that Jesus is God. If you don’t believe this, then you don’t have God, but you can have Him 🙂 Jesus loves you so very much! 😀 And Jesus gives believers the power of His Holy Spirit.
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you will be in heaven, no matter what!

  2. find someone to share life with even by joining an online dating svc…It helped me out…im married again….sign up for free devotionals at upperroom.com……..why cant you talk with your spouse?? I just caught that so skip the dating if married…..go to a TRinity church….do you have a job you like? that helps.. KEEP PRAYING

  3. The next step is getting to church and fellowship with likeminded Christians, it truly works!

  4. This is all part of the spiritual journey. God must break up the rough ground of the heart to plant seeds of truth. Hang in there. God is working in you.

  5. You are experiencing nothing but the natural state of all things. For lo, know now that entropy is the final inevitability, decay the only thing that is certain. The phenomenon you call life is nothing but a twitch in the eternal equilibrium of death.
Surrender yourself to eternity now, and embrace your ultimate destiny.

  6. Ava, I have recently felt EXACTLY like this, what I did was talked to my partner and together we have prayed. I also had some things from my past that I had never dealt with, so I confessed and asked God for forgiveness and I have felt such a feeling of relief and like a cloud is lifting off of me.
I have been in a rut for a while now, but I am now in a new course that will hopefully end with a job placement, I am trying to eat better, exercise more and I have been listening to uplifting music. I have been looking around me at the beauty God made, this morning I was looking closely at this tree and there was an old branch but from it a new twig was emerging and it just felt so symbolic to me.
I truly encourage you to seek God’s joy!! I pray that you will find what you are looking for.

  7. My heart is broke, but I have some glue… help me inhale… mend it with you… We’ll float around and hang out on clouds, then we’ll come down and have a hangover.

  8. Been there …done that.
Start by reading the Word…..keep praying, re establish your connection w/ God. He will meet you as you take a step toward him.
Ask Christ and the Holy Spirit for strength to continue….and then take a step of faith and sow a seed toward someone else’s need ….and then step out and find a need ….and serve someone else…
those steps are scriptural and they work.
    God bless…

  9. ‘my partner …’ alludes to pre-marital sex or perhaps same-sex relationship ? if i m wrong, email me.
Otherwise. breaching the commandments of God takes away LIFE n JOY. It brings spiritual death and death to the body as in sickness and poor health, financial problems and such that takes away joy.
to change this situation, repent and get back on track. Before you know it, joy will flow into your life and you’ll be smiling and radiant …

  10. getting close to God is the first step
He brings the joy into a persons life
you should seek to find God and put him first
    He can renew your strength

  11. Ava even Christians get depression and you sound depressed, really.
The next step is to go to your family doctor, or general practice doctor and tell them all of the above. Please do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. I liked Beverlies answer. We all love you. God loves you…He will never leave you or forsake you ! Pray you break thru into a fresh experience of the Emmanuel , God with us. May the Holy One create in you a clean heart; and renew a right spirit within you; May the God of peace fill you with all JOY and Peace in believing.

  13. Ava–you sound like such a sweet person. But you need to downsize in your mind.
Small kindnesses and simple acts of forgiveness and caring will change your corner of the world.
When you don’t feel like you can talk to anyone else, you can always talk to God. And God will always listen to you. God hears you.
Do not “over-think” your relationship with God. Just accept the fact that God understands and loves you. Then act with that same love to those around you…and you will be doing “something big” in the lives of the people you meet every day.

  14. pray and renew your relationship with God. read the bible, get involved in your church, and be active in bible studies. why can’t you talk to anyone. talking helps. if you want to help others then serve people to the best of your abilities. you don’t necessarily have to do something big but do small things too. give to God all your worries and troubles and take each day as it comes.

  15. Dear Ava, We have all felt:
You have made me more than a conqueror (Rom 8:37).
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us
You are my deliverer (Rom 11:26).
And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
You are my counselor (Isa 9:6).
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, [a] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
    A failure….yet
You have made me an overcomer (1 Jn 5:4).
For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith
You did not give me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, andof a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7).
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
You are a friend who sticks closer to me than a brother (Prov 18:24).
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
    In darkness….yet
You are a light unto my path and a lamp unto my feet (Ps 119:105).
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
You promised never to leave me nor forsake me (Heb 13:5).
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you;never will I forsake you.”
I’m accepted and approved by You (Eph 1:4).
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love
You supply all my need according to Your riches in glory (Phil 4:19).
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
You are the Lord who heals all my diseases (Ps 103:3).
…who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
You are my peace (Jn 14:27).
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you asthe world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
You are the purifier and refiner of my life (Mal 3:3).
He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify theLevites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will havemen who will bring offerings in righteousness,
You are my strength and my strong tower (Ps 18:2).
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn [a] of my salvation, my stronghold.
You see me as a pearl of great price (Matt 13:46).
When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
I pray that you remember God will never leave you or forsake you, Stay strong in prayer. May God bless you abundantly

  16. God won’t save you from this, you have to find the source that is draining you emotionally and deal with it or find ways to occupy your time. Keeping your mind busy will put feelings like this aside and allow you to find the better things in life.
