How is it possible for us to die & go directly into the presence of God,yet be asleep until the return of?
Jesus.I read the flesh body goes back to the dust from which it came, we go directly into the spiritual body upon death of the flesh body. If we go directly to God when we are in the flesh body, as the scriptures state, how then will we be dead and not awaken until the end of time?

  1. Remove your understand of how to measure time and you have your answer. Life is not limited to our understandings. There is a much greater reality out there and our purpose is to welcome it by cleansing ourselves from imperfections and sin.

  2. Good question! I’ve heard preachers actually say it both ways when they are officiating at a funeral and trying to comfort the grieving family. It’s a classic case of the “blind leading the blind”. Obviously we can’t have it both ways, so one way or the other must be a lie. Jesus said that if we seek then we shall find.
If you prayerfully read the Holy Bible then you will discover the answer to your question. I’m not going to tell you what to beleive. You need to learn it for yourself from the word of God, then you will truely KNOW the right answer.

  3. Don’t believe everything you read or hear…One thing I learned about Spirituality, if Man had a hand in it, than you better start looking for the misunderstanding and correct it or you won’t see the truth of it..Oh and this fact was not lost on Jesus either….Jesus knew he was not fully getting through to these humans…
Mark 9:19And He answered them and said, “O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to Me!”
John10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? (non-physical, immortal, Spiritual Beings and not the physical human body we look at in a mirror)
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;(physical human body) and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”.(you as a non-physical, immortal, Spiritual Being).
Luke 17:21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
I John 4:4 Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world
Psalm 90:10The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
