How does reincarnation require a completely different worldview than we find in the Bible?

  1. not really, Jesus himself pointed to John the Baptist being the reincarnation of Elijah, he even knew of the peoples lack of understanding of the issue, and said “if you can accept this”….meaning he knew they sort of wouldn’t.

  2. Simply because reincarnation is a pagan teaching and is not supported by any scripture in the Bible.
    Thats why.

  3. It mightn’t require an entirely different world view. But most people who embrace reincarnation as an afterlife belief don’t pay much mind to the Bible.
Maybe they’re mutually exclusive beliefs, maybe they aren’t. But believers in one usually aren’t believers in the other.

  4. The bible teaches that after life is the judgment. No second time around.
This instills within believers a sense of urgency to live a life pleasing to God, holy, righteous, always with an eye toward heaven.
This also instills within sinners a need to repent and turn to God, finding forgiveness before it is too late.
    god bless
