How does Islam understand the crucifixion, resurrection and Ascension of Jesus?

  1. God saved Jesus from death of curse. So, we believe that Jesus was neither crucified nor resurrected. But we believe in ascension and his second coming.
Send me mail for further detail.

  2. Islam teachees that Prophet Jesus, God bless him and grant him peace, has not died, but was raised to heaven alive. He will return to earth to defeat the anti-christ, marry, and rule the world for a time. Then he and all of the good people will die, leaving only the evil alive to face the terrible Last Days. On the Day of Judgment, Jesus, God bless him and grant him peace, along with all humanity, will be resurrected and stand before God to be judged, and he will spend eternity in heaven.

  4. Jesus Christ the son of Lady Mary was a Holy Prophet of Islam. The Muslims have to believe in him and the Message revealed to him by Allah, named Injil (Gospel). He was not crucified nor killed by the Jews. This was made doubtful to them. He was raised to Heavens. He is to come back; to remove the doubts about him. Shall pray along with the Muslims. Shall kill the Anti-Christ (Dajjaal). Shall marry. Shall die. (Every one who is born has to taste death.) And, his second coming shall be the sure Sign of the end of the world.

  5. They do not deny the ascension, and they believe that He WAS Messiah, but they DO deny that He was ever crucified, believing instead that it was Judas that died on the cross.

  6. Let us talk about the prophet jesus PBUH in islam :-
    1. Muslims love Jesus. We also love Abraham, Moses, and Noah, to name just a few other Prophets Muslims revere. May God’s peace be upon all of these great messengers of God.
    2. Muslims also love the mother of Jesus, the Virgin Mary. We believe she was a pious and noble woman chosen over all of the women of the world.
    3. Muslims believe that Jesus was born miraculously of a virgin mother and no father. His birth is miraculous like the birth of Adam, the first human being, who was created with neither mother nor father.
    4. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. God is so powerful and self-sufficient that He does not need a son or any kind of partner.
    5. In Arabic Bible the name for God is Allah. Therefore all Arab Christian call God Allah as Muslim do as well.
    6. Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, God saved him as his enemies were confused about him. Jesus was taken up by God to Heaven.
    7. Jesus is called Isa (pronounced Eesa) in Arabic.
    8. Jesus performed miracles by the Will of God, like healing the blind and those with leprosy.
    9. Jesus prayed to the same God as all Prophets and we pray to.
10.Jesus will return before the end of the world.

The second coming of Jesus is one of our core beliefs as well as one of the signs that judgment day is near.
Islam, Christianity and Judaism have a lot of common ground…
    peace be with you

Bible says “Jesus is a Prophet of GOD”
    – The Bible tells us that Jesus is a prophet like Moses “The LORD said to me: … I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account. But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death” Deuteronomy 18:18-22 NIV
1- He is a prophet like Moses
2- He will not be killed, nor crucified like Moses
3- Moses didn’t call for trinity, so Jesus the prophet didn’t call for trinity
4- Moses was sent only to the children of Israel, so Jesus the prophet of God “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel” Matthew 15:24 He is not the prophet coming to the Whole world.

Bible says “Jesus was saved from crucifixtion”
    – The Bible tells us “The righteous man is rescued from trouble, and it comes on the wicked instead” Proverbs 11:8 NIV .. Was this applied with Jesus the righteous man?
    – The Bible says “The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin” Proverbs 21:12 NIV
    – Jesus said to his disciples “But a time is coming, and has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me” John 16:32 NIV, but Mathew says “Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46 NIV .. God, the Father was with him or forsaken him? .. The Bible told us that God will not forsake his faithful ones and they will be protected “For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but
the offspring of the wicked will be cut of” Psalm 37:28 NIV Was Jesus a faithful one or wicked? Sure he was faithful so he must be protected.
    – The Bible says that everyone must die for his sins “But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge” Jeremiah 31:30 NKJV so how come another man died for our sins?.
    – Again the Bible told us that everyone must die for his own sin “the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin” 2 Chronicles 25:4 NKJV
    – The Bible says “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him” Ezekiel 18:20 NKJV
    – The Bible says that God will save his Messiah “Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand” Psalm 20:6 NIV
    – The Bible says again that God will save his Messiah “The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one” Psalm 28:8 NIV
    – The Bible says many times that God will save his Messiah “He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him” Psalm 22:8 NKJV
    – The Bible told us that the angel of the LORD will save his Messiah “The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them” Psalm 34:7 NKJV
    – The Gospel of Luke told us that the angel of the LORD appeared to Jesus “And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him” Luke 22:43 NKJV
    – The Bible told us that God will not forsake his faithful ones and they will be protected “For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut of” Psalm 37:28 NIV Was Jesus a faithful one or wicked? Sure he was faithful so he must be protected
