  1. Socrates is know today for his Socrates method which is used in many areas of inquiry. using inquiry to arrive at a concise answer.
    Zeno is known for his famous paradoxes that still boggle the minds of intellectuals.
    ex: The motion paradox
    Epicurus is famous for his Epicurean ways. he wrote much that many contemporary inquirers of philosophy use today. The epicurean lifestyle is one that advocates hedonism and also professes that there is nothing one can truly know. live and be happy.
