How do scientists know that traveling faster than the speed of light causes time travel?

What did they use to demonstrate or observe time travel if we can’t travel faster than the speed of light?

  1. because time travel is impossible! The whole idea of a parallell universe is non sense…To get to speed of light, you need to have 0 mass, and that is not possible, hence time travel aint possible!

  2. time travel is relative. if two people are traveling together and one person changes speed, then both people experience time travel (as relative to each other). will they realize it though?
you dont have to reach the speed of light to change the time frame you just have to accelerate or decelerate. (or change mass?)

  3. Because the laws of physics state that it is impossible for anything to travel at the speed of light. So if something gets close enough to that speed physics would have to step in and slow time down causing a few days to feel like only a few hours or even seconds.
