has anyone ever had their aura read?

whats it all about?

  1. My Auntie did. She had numerous colours around her, and the colours apparently mean different attitudes or states of mind, soul etc. That’s about all I know, sorry.

  2. I haven’t.. but I think it would be interesting to have my aura read… When my sister and I were growing up, my aunt used to tell her all the time that her (my sister) aura was silver… hmmmm..

  3. ok.. we all read aura’s everyday of our lives…
when you look at a person and you get the 1st impression of them..
you are calculating lots of things at once.. how they look, how they stand, what their attitude is about.. their clothes.. even the way they part their hair will have an effect on your thought procceses…
this is an aura…. however there is somthing more to go on… and that is experience.. and an eye for detail, based on lots of things other than the lines on your face..
some people think its a magical look into a person, but really in most cases its an informed perception that you get..
when or if, somone does an aura reading of you. what is happening is, your giving that person permission to speak to you in a direct manner and tell you some home truths about your looks…
in any other situation one might be offended by this..
it will be a good thing to have done.. as it gives you an insight into yourself that you might not have seen..
and yes, there is a color field around a person, its well documented… and lots of things in your mind eye have color attatchments.. [ i dont much go for this side of it though]
there is a thing called kerlian photograhy.. which takes pics and picks up on some kind of aura.. but some people naff this off as just a heat camera trick…

  4. Yes I had my photo done and a 15 min reading explaining my Aura
The aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body (Human Energy Field-HEF) and every organism and object in the Universe. The Human Energy Field as a collection of electro – magnetic energies of varying densities that permeate through and emit or exit from the physical body of a living person. These particles of energy are suspended around the healthy human body in an oval shaped field. This “auric egg” emits out from the body approximately 2-3 feet (1 metre on average) on all sides. It extends above the head and below the feet into the ground. The aura consist of seven levels/layers/auric bodies . Each one of the subtle bodies that exist around the physical body, has its own unique frequency. They are interrelated, and affect one another and the person’s feelings, emotions, thinking, behaviour, and health as well. Therefore a state of imbalance in one of the bodies leads to a state of imbalance in the others.
    1) Physical auric body – Physical sensations. Simple physical comfort, pleasure, health.
    2) The etheric auric body – Emotions with respect to self. Self-acceptance and self love.
    3) Vital auric body – Rational mind. To understand the
situation in a clear, linear, rational way.
    4) Astral (emotional) body – Relations with others. Loving interaction with friends and family.
    5) Lower mental auric body – Divine will within. To align with the divine will within, to make commitment to speak and follow the truth.
    6) Higher mental auric body – Divine love, and spiritual ecstasy.
    7) Spiritual (intuitive) body – Divine mind, serenity. To be connected to divine mind and to understand the greater universal pattern.
    Love & Blessings

  5. An aura, according to New Age metaphysics, is a colored outline, or set of contiguous outlines, allegedly emanating from the surface of an object. Auras are not to be confused with the aureoles or halos of saints, which are devices of Christian iconography used to depict the radiance of light associated with divine infusion. In the New Age, even the lowly amoeba has an aura, as does the mosquito and every lump of goat dung. The aura supposedly reflects a supernatural energy field or life force that permeates all things. Human auras allegedly emerge from the chakras. Under ordinary circumstances, auras are only visible to certain people with special psychic power. However, with a little bit of training, or with a special set of Aura Goggles with “pinacyanole bromide” filters (available at your local New Age Head Shop), anyone can see auras. You may also use Kirlian photography to capture auras on film. At least that is what New Age spiritualists believe.
On the other hand, you may also see auras if you have a migraine, a certain form of epilepsy, a visual system disorder or a brain disorder. These auras, however, are somewhat different from the kind encouraged by most aura training exercises. These involve staring at an object placed against a white background in a dimly lit room. What one sees is due to retinal fatigue and other natural perceptual processes, not the unleashing of hidden psychic powers. Something similar happens when you stare at certain colored or black and white patterns. Vision is not the verbatim recording of the outside world. When looking at a colored object, for example, the eye does not transmit to the brain a continuous series of duplicate impressions. The brain itself supplies much of the visual perception. In short, even if auras are perceived, that is not good evidence that there is an energy field in the physical or supernatural world corresponding to the perceptions.
The notion that auras reflect health is a common one among true believers. The problem is, what color reflects what condition? There is no consensus on what the colors mean, which makes it difficult if not impossible to devise an empirical test to determine whether there is any correlation between specific colors and specific diseases. In other words, reading auras is something like reading Rorschach tests with the added difficulty of each psychic potentially seeing a different pattern.
For every other object of color we have scientific devices which can measure any energy emitted from the object, as well as the wavelengths of light reflected from the object. Even though equipment exists capable of measuring extremely minute energy levels, no one has ever detected an aura or the alleged energy that gives rise to an aura using scientific equipment. Human tissue is about a million times less sensitive than something like a PET scanner, yet we are supposed to believe that some special people can “see” what cannot otherwise be detected. Or, we are supposed to believe that we all have the power to see auras but somehow we have repressed or never trained our psychic selves to unleash the power within.
If you see auras, you may not be psychic; you may have a brain or vision disorder. See your physician ASAP.
