Has anyone ever had an OBE, astral experience, or lucid dream?

What’s it like? Any tips or reading to make the projection easier? No answers that say “no”. There is no point at all to that.

No, but my brother used to have OBE’s. He said it’s easier to find your body if you do it near someone you know.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to post a question? All I can do is answer.

I love how “nice guy” says lucid dreaming is real, but the rest is hoakey. The scientific community disagrees. The wiki page gives a good overview for all the OBE experiments and work that have gone on. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Out-of-body_experience http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/80225.php http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pam_Reynolds%27_NDE Pam Reynolds (stage name) from Atlanta, Georgia is an American singer-songwriter. In 1991, at the age of 35, she had a near-death experience (NDE) during a brain operation. Her NDE is one of the most notable and best documented in NDE research because of the unusual circumstances under which it happened. Reynolds was under close medical monitoring during the entire… Read more »

Lucid dream, yes just about anyone can have one. A good start is to write down your dreams as soon as you wake up. That way you remember more detail.Eventually you’ll become aware inside your dream.
OBE, astral projection, that is a bunch of foofwraw. Outright lying and pretend world internet boasting.

Edit.I didn’t realize it was on Wiki. In that case I must be wrong.
If Secret read her own link she’d notice it does not support her opinion.

I can change my dreams. If something happens that I don’t like, I “change the chanel” when I’m dreaming. It is just like flipping chanels in my head until I get something else.I haven’t had a nightmare in 20 years!

Yes, I’ve been to the astral.

What’s it like?
It was hard for me to stay there for more then 10-20 minutes…. but I’m working on that.
It’s a good experience.
I feel much better in the physical life now that I’m “balanced”

Tips:
Practice! Clear your mind! Try thinking only in present time “here and now”! Meditate! And most importantly, practice focusing!

Good luck

It is simple ignorance to claim “lucid dreaming is not.” University experiments have conclusively demonstrated that lucid dreaming is real. http://www.lucidity.com has some links/information. (For example, lucid dreamers were given a specific eye-movement code to use when they knew they were lucid dreaming, which movements would be picked up by a recording device. These specific, conscious, unique sequences occurred when REM was occurring, and if subjects are awakened, they confirm lucidity.) http://www.astraldynamics.com is an example of further conscious awareness/coherence, which permits astral or soul travel. This is well-known in Tibetan Vipassana meditation, etc.: “The Master of Lucid Dreams,” Dr. Olga… Read more »

I’m 29 now and from what I’ve been told I can astral project in my dreams if I want too. At the age of 15 I had a dream in which my three guys I knew two I was friends with were around a bonfire in the woods. One of my friends got mad at the other one and threw a spent shotgun shell into the fire causing it to burst higher and the shell shot out of the flames and into my other friends arm. They said to me days later that I was there and saw the whole… Read more »

I’ve had a couple lucid dreams, but nothing to exciting. It’s hard to describe. In the first I was back in the civil war or something and remember that I could control were I went and stuff, but it was short since my alarm went off. A couple others happened at random times and were pretty much the same and I could teleport and move around and slow down time, I won’t go into detail on what really happened, nothing exciting. Sometimes I’ll just become aware that I’m asleep, and not really be able to do anything, but I’ll realize… Read more »
