I read in a natural spirituality book that abuse of the chakra sysytem can cause flesh death … has anyone else experienced an abuse of their chakra system (obviousily not until death)?
Energy siphoning … in natural spirituality – those who drain one’s energy are known as spiritual vampires.

      No.
Just because it is in a book, that does not make it true.

      No.
If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

Chakra — he’s that little monkey-kid from “Land of the Lost”, right?
But to answer your question, no — “abusing your chakra” and “spanking your monkey” are two entirely different things…

Poor diet and not being kind will damage both bodies through and through.

It is well established that specious “spiritual” procedures can have both positive (placebo) and negative (nocebo) effects. In extreme cases these can lead to death (people have certainly died of fright after being bitten by a non-venomous snake).
Enthusiasts of New Age religions prefer to focus on the placebo effects of their chosen prejudice while igoring its nocebo capabilities.
This is good. Stupidity rarely benefits the individual, but it can be very good for the genepool.
