Throat singing is a type of singing that comes from central Asia. It is the ability to have two different 'voices' coming from one singer by manipulating the vocal cords. If you've ever heard Tibetan monk chants that's what it is.
Does anyone know where I can learn this technique?
Wow, you're all so clever and funny (first three answers) MORONS
You retards are just so fucking funny. Why don't you shut the hell up if you don't know anything?

The best place to learn this lost art would be your local red light district. Any well qualified prostitute will be more than happy to teach you the ways of throat singing my young patawan. For years these glorius women/men have practiced the art in dark alleys...dirty hotels....strip clubs....and even in the dusty place under your desk. So find a hooker and hook her.

I will provide some sources, but simply "report abuse" if the answers you get are offensive (as they obviously are). I'm sure there are those out there who would report your responses as abusive (albeit defensively).
Some of the more "famous" throat-singing comes from the small country of Tuva. This website lists sources, including material from Scientific American, about the overtone series and HOW to begin learning these techniques.
