Could you post the last paragraph of the report?
I'd be glad to help if I could.
Here are quotes from the Pali Canon (Buddhist scripture). You could say for you sentence "Just as the Buddha said (insert quote)"
"Hatred is never appeased by hatred in this world. By non-hatred alone is hatred appeased. This is a law eternal."
"Mind precedes all mental states. Mind is their chief; they are all mind-wrought. If with a pure mind a person speaks or acts happiness follows him like his never-departing shadow."

Hard to say when I haven't read your report. I think in the last line you are basically supposed to sum up your paper. "In conclusion..."

"...and they lived happily ever after"

That first egg was named 'Thought'.
Tathegata Buddha, the father Buddha, said "With our thoughts, we shape the world."
Elemental forces caused the egg to hatch. From it came a stone monkey.
The nature of the monkey was....irrepressible!!
(sorry, couldn't help myself. If you don't get this, you suck)

You could use a quote of his such as " “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”.
Good luck on your report.

"You can dislike my report all you want to, Professor, even give it an "F" if you must...but remember, you cannot touch my soul."
That ought to mess with 'em.
