What did the Buddha do to help and relieve peoples suffering?

the claim is that he helped by teaching people how to accept the world peacefully and more to the point if u believe in the cycle of rebirths how to bring an end to that cycle.
he died from eating some pork that had turned given to him by some man. as a beggar, he had no right to refuse what he was given--and of course there is a deeper lesson in this that does make sense (we are all as beggars in front of the universe which gives us whatever it wants).
He told them to make statues of him, and sell them to tourists.
He helped people by telling them parables
He died from food poisoning. He ate bad pork.
He made people realize that what goes around comes around. Bad sh!t you did to others previously is coming back to you. So be nice.

He himself was peaceful and his philosophy was for everyone to be peaceful.
Yet, his followers have been anything but peaceful.
If they went through many lives, reincarnation, and was a good person, sometimes rich, sometimes poor. Eventually, he could die and be gone.
Ecclesiastes 9:5Â For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all,
So according to the bible they will reach their ultimate goal the first time.

Buddha has expounded suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path leading to the cessation of suffering
He taught the Dhamma , We could possibly define dhamma as the "science of reality".
