For those who believe in Reincarnation (like me), how did you come to realize reincarnation is the way to go?

I learn about Reincarnation in my religion Spiritism, but I always had in mind that to be the most acceptable theory, even when I was a teenager and had not choose any religion yet.
Thank you all for the beautiful answers.

When I first discovered my past lives...When I first viewed the pictures of them and realized it was me I was looking at.

If you believe in soul, and consider soul as some sort of energy, and first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, where does the soul go if you die? Another person/thing's body? Make sense to me. Anything is possible, im open minded.

I, too, as a child knew that I had lived before. I have no doubt about it actually.

I came to believe it when I decided that this life with all of it's pain and unexplainable experiences had to have some purpose. The idea of everything resting on one life lived seems pointless to me. We must have many different lives, eventually having every possible experience. This is called spiritual evolution. In order to join with God (the pure energy of love), we must attain complete understanding.

Usually people who have a "sense" of having lived before have had that "sense" before; it's not new and it's not the first time.
People who have no "sense" of it are probably very young souls who probably died during some war, or plague, or disaster in history. The truly religious are probably victims of surgical implants for controlling and manipulating them.
They find themselves alive today on earth now and it's antagonistic towards them and they cannot live out the implanted mandate they have for survival, which has religious cult-like connections to past lives.
For the rest of us, like yourself, who have impressions of having lived before, we're all on this planet at the same time and there is no running away or hiding from the future. Not this time.

when i was in service i went to the site of one of my previous deaths in verdun france. there were many strange things that occured, which made it clear that i had lived before! there had been many strange things that happened prior and since that continue to prove this ! for a death there is a birth ,you may or may not have recall, this is a mystery!

Identical twins are often very different in personality from birth. Therefore, personality- the framework of consciousness- seems to be something more than genetics and environment. If consciousness is more than a product of the conditioned brain, what becomes of the consciousness upon physical death? I don't believe it disappears. Likewise, I don't believe consciousness suddenly appears either. Like matter and energy, I believe consciousness has always existed, and always survives in some form.

I was raised Catholic as a very young child, But I seem to know God even before that, and had a sense or awareness of something more about myself, knowing that I am different than my older brothers and younger sisters in someway, but I couldn't put my finger on it at that time. I had some memories of people I have never met in this life, details of their faces in my head. I always had a sense of spirits around me as a child, even seen some as if they are watching and protecting me, which now makes sense after walking away from every possible accident and everything that was thrown at me.
These abilities to see and communicate with spirits seemingly is in the blood of our family on my mother's side, my great grandmother whom came over from Yugoslavia had seen spirit woman come down from the sky to speak with her, and their were many other family relatives in the past that were burn at the steak accused of being witches because of their abilities. My Aunt and I are the last two strongest, she was the one who mention that the memory of the people are dead people, from a past life.
And then comes my spirit guide Erica to help, encouarge, teach and comfort me. She alone has teach me more than any human, I understood everything in such a way, the gentleness of her comforting touch, the compassion in her spirit and the unusal ways she teach and communicates, especially the memories of two past life times that I lived, one the first when we both were together, and another when she was my spirit guide in that life. Perhaps some of the other spirits I seen here at the time she came to me, perhaps they too were spirits I once knew.
The only problem when you find out some truth is you want to know so much more~

Sylvia Browne.... many don't believe she is real, but she opened my eyes up to a whole new way of looking at things. After I read what she had to say about the other side and reincarnation, I knew it was the truth.
