Not personally, no.

I'm pretty sure he died before I was born. Day of the Kennedy assassination, I think.

You made 3 claims that you haven't bothered to substantiate. I'll address the first one. Rock stars are in show business. Being in show business, they are concerned with their image and self promotion. Claims of possession should be seen in that light.

I know of him, although obviously I didn't know him personally since he died in a boarding-house in Hastings in 1947, by which time he was consuming enough heroin each day to kill John Belushi, Janice Joplin and Paula Yates combined. He's an interesting character, and obviously has influenced popular culture to a certain degree - There's even an Ozzy Osbourne song about him.

Heroin-addict. Wrote some occult sounding hooey while high. Sold some books to gullible people, myself included when I was younger and hadn't opened my eyes.

93,
No I don't know him. He died before I was born. But as a Thelemite, I tend to know a decent amount about the man.
"did you know that most rock stars claim to be possesed when performing and writing their music?"
No they don't. The closest you get is musicians using poetic language to describe them "Being in the zone." Case in point, Robert Plant when writing Stairway to Heaven.
"did you know that a lot of musicians follow the book he wrote, The Book of Law?"
The only important modern rock star who actually followed Liber Al was Jimmy Page, as he was a Thelemite. A lot of them have drawn inspiration from Liber Al, bt for the most part this only extend to pulling a few lines out of it that are "Cool." Case in point, Jay-Z wearing the "Do what thou Wilt hoodie."
Yes, I like Crowley. His works are a corner stone of Thelema.
