A ritual for ridding something of negative energy so it never harms anyone?

I have found when I cast a circle that the easiest way for me to rid my circle of negative energy is to place a stone in the center and envisage it sucking the black energy up. But then I am left with a stone full of negativity. I am not sure what I should do with this stone, I want to release the energy, but I don't want to release it without insuring it won't harm anyone, or taint me or my home. Anyone?
P.S. I'm Wiccan, if it means anything.
Haha sorry, C, I know exactly what you mean...don't have another word for it though...

Place it either in the fire to burn out the energy or cast it into a stream or river.

A good set of jumper cables should do the trick. Just remember red is positive, black is negative.

What is negative energy?
How do you know it's there?
Do you talk to dead people?
I bet you can fly too!!

Ha ha. Why do "spiritual" people have to misuse technical terms from physics? "Energy" has a definite and precise meaning.

Why not do the opposite, create positive energy using orgone. You can build your own, it is not witchcraft it is science in a positive application.

Wash it with salt water.

Energy (E) is the static matter (m) in the universe conflicting with the continuously expanding time and space (c) and is expressed as E=mc^2. If you put it in a cup of water and freeze it, the negative energy will be encapsulated and trapped...
