I feel scents are basically meant to arouse desires! Be it aroma of spices from a kitchen that stimulates the hunger or familiar fragrance associated with a particular person, stirring the longings in lonely heart….

Scents bring memories in it wake…leaving a person restless!

At another level, scent leaves you scented…and by that I don’t mean with its own scent, but brings forth OUR own…

Some say our sense of smell is our most primitive….Long forgotten and then re-experienced scents can take me back….almost as if in a Time Machine…..the same as a Long ago song can do…..some scents are compelling and I Cannot get enough….I use Aromatherapy to heal my pain…..My Favorite scent is a mixture I have created to please myself….heavy in Sandalwood and Patchouli, with other scents added to round out the perfume aspect of this Healing Lotion……I call it Chere Amor….Dear Love….it is truly a woman’s perfume…..soft, powdery, warm….sensuous and with some mystique…. However there are so many wonderful scents….Freshly ground… Read more »

-For those with the flowering consciousness, how does scent affect your being? What are some of your favorite scents? Ummmmmmmmm… those defining “Signature Scents’, how they awaken us, those wondrous smells that just begin to create energy and the rise of ascension! Scents do interact with us in many levels, as they usher in joys profound. Our consciousness begins to start its engines, igniting those wondrous Chakras. Starting these engines, as they heat up and raise us! Yes, those ‘Signature Scents,’ Kali that we all love to smell arouse in me a newness of life! And oh, how I love… Read more »

I love the strong scented fragrance of lavender, it has the tendency to entirely momentarily subdue my conscious sense of being to its distinctive tranquil redolence. Bless You!

There is something mystical about the scent of kettle popcorn and an ice cream shop. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love the scent of bacon cooking!

Now these may not come in the form of perfume, however, these scents entice the conscious into awakening thus awakening some of the unconscious.

As for colognes and perfumes it is Jovan musk that awakens my hypothalamus or lower brain or cave woman.

This is where the lioness becomes hypnotized and leaves the den to track down this entrancing aroma.

Peace..

The scent of honeysuckle in the spring.. arouses my consciousness to a new level and induces euphoric thoughts.
I found the scent of wisteria soothing at first to grow bitter
the scent of a rose calms my nerves…
and
I love the smell of an old canvas tent in a rainstorm.. it unleashes pleasant memories…and nostalgia.

I’ll play and say that the “scent” makes me rise brighter in the morning and enter into my day with clean conviction.

Just as music does. As I walked out of the house yesterday morning, the scent of spring hit me and my memory flooded, and spilled over into my day. It had rained over night, making mud of the dog yard; blue hyacinths, my mother’s favorite spring flower, were in bloom outside the gate and have such a distinctive scent; I could smell them right away. I’m ready to dig in and get dirty. One of my favorite scents comes from good clean dirt. The flower scent from my white crabapple would make me rich if I could bottle and sell… Read more »

I love to smell the ROSES after a rainfall and I absolutely love the smell of HILL-DIRT after a drenching night of rain…..I do not live in the country, but I use to be a country-girl and remembered how magnificent those smells were after rain had settled…….SUCH BEAUTY!…..
