Most important lesson: Honesty. Don’t be afraid of it, embrace it. Even if people think you’re a dick, they will think you’re an honest dick.
One question: Why do people do *that*? The that changes, however.
Edit: Can I change my lesson to ‘serpent’s? Because that’s a good one….

The one question that I have that will just not get answered, at least not yet, is how do I reconcile myself to non-existence? I know it is all a part of the circle of life and death, and there is no escape, and I must come to grips with this Universal reality.
There are many important lessons I have learned by being a Witch and a pantheist, but the one that comes to mind is that there are so many true and real wonders in this world, so much beauty, so much complexity, so many things that are incredible that are REAL, there is no need to make up unbelievable deities to whom a person need sing hymns and bend knee.
The Universe is an amazing place and our planet is our fragile lifeboat. We need to grow up and take care of Her.
Brightest Blessings,

That you cannot be afraid of what anyone else thinks you are. You have to rise above the stereotypes and misconceptions and as long as you’re happy about what you’re doing, that’s all that really matters.
One question I will never have answered? How about what is the best way to reheat pizza? No matter what I do, it just never tastes the same.

Why does man continue to look at his feet, rather than to look ahead at the horizon, and better still to look up into the face of God ?

This is most important to me. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;…” Proverbs 1:7. I love knowing the knowledge of God!!! By the way, fear means a reverence for God.

[i learned this from observation actually]
my grandfather is a 71 year old christian that still preaches and does things to try and impress people and wount do things or let my family do things for the same reason. Its like your over 70! If you havent made an impression yet you never ever will!
but anyway i learned that, honestly, people will see you the way they want to see you and theres nothing you can do to change that. Even with me, i wear a pentagon because i am a wiccan not a satanist and have to deal with stares and questions all the time but its who i am i dont regret it and i wount appologize for it.

Whatever you choose to believe, believe wholly, deeply and truly.
The question that will not get answered is “What comes after?” We all have our ideas and beliefs, but no one knows who is actually correct, and perhaps no one is.

We are borrowing the earth from our children.
Ute Prayer
Earth teach me quiet ~ as the grasses are still with new light.
Earth teach me suffering ~ as old stones suffer with memory.
Earth teach me humility ~ as blossoms are humble with beginning.
Earth teach me caring ~ as mothers nurture their young.
Earth teach me courage ~ as the tree that stands alone.
Earth teach me limitation ~ as the ant that crawls on the ground.
Earth teach me freedom ~ as the eagle that soars in the sky.
Earth teach me acceptance ~ as the leaves that die each fall.
Earth teach me renewal ~ as the seed that rises in the spring.
Earth teach me to forget myself ~ as melted snow forgets its life.
Earth teach me to remember kindness ~ as dry fields weep with rain.

wow, big qs, as always from you
id say , that i can think just now,the most important lesson i learned is probably to acept myself for who i am, but know that that does not mean you cant be a better person in some ways too
balance as always is the key, find the balance between accepting yourself and bettering yourself
wow, propably the one i asked yesterday on here, what does fate want, why does it do what it does to and for us
