  1. Rather than asking if it is “sin”, one should ask, “does this bring me closer to God, or farther away?” Astrology and any other pseudo science, I believe, leads a person away from understanding and knowing the “real” God. Thanks for asking.

  2. No, it is not a sin. And no, it is not the same idea as witchcraft.
People who say that have no idea what they’re talking about, and most likely have never even looked into astrology nor witchcraft, so.

  3. The Christian crowd is about the only group to say that. I am a witch, have been involved in Wicca for some time. We study witchcraft and all kinds of divination including astrology. Don’t worry about what others say, the only way to learn about anything is to study it.
PS – lol moment, didn’t the Maji follow a star to find the baby Jesus, think about it.

There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father–your father the king–made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers.

  5. yes it is, because if you believe that your fate depends on astrology then you distrust God’s will on you. It’s the same as neglecting god’s presence in your life.
