According to the man who coined the term, MAGICK is
“the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with the will.”
Therefore it includes nonexistent magic and mundane happenings like lifting a sandwich.
So some magick stuff is everyday stuff. Some is fiction.
I do, however, believe that it is possible to perceive something as magical if one is ignorant. Arthur C. Clark said:
“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
We would seem to have magical powers to cavemen. And if ever encounter a civilization a billion years more advanced than us, we would certainly be equally baffled.

I hate the k.
I believe magic is an ancient spiritual practice rooted in nature and psychology.
It works… it works *very* well for some of us… the same way herbal teas work in healing, or the power of positive thinking works in bringing about desired outcomes.
There may even be some kind of energy manipulation involved that they may discover someday– who knows?
I just don’t think there is anything particularly supernatural about it.
