Do pathological liars subconsciously feel those who believe them are inferior?

If the question is worded a little funny what I basically want to know is:
if someone lies non stop about well, nothing really, just stupid little things that wouldn’t matter (pseudologia fantastica, pathological lying) is there a chance that their subconscious mind finds those dumb enough to believe said lies mentally inferior to them?

  1. i dont think that they find dumb people for them to feel good. they lie to everyone and they feel good when they have made that person believe their bull

  2. I don’t think it has anything to do with the people they are lying to. It is all about the liar, they feel inferior so to boost their own ego they develop a sophisticated system of lying.

  3. I think the pathological liar has a distorted idea of what everyone else understanding is. You know they have to keep up different stories with different people, and therefore probably decide whether that person will accept the lie(s). I guess the only answer is yes they must believe we are dumb enough to believe them.

  4. It’s a cry for attention when someone is a pathological lier.. Honestly. They lie about crazy things in hopes that someone will believe them. The more people push his/her stories to the side, the worst he/she will get. IMO
