I read that somewhere and I have a black cat. Just curious about your opinions. Thanks! 🙂
I have had bad juju follow me no matter where I move since I was about 17. I am southern and my parents always told me to never mess with Ouija, without explaining why. Needless to say I did, right after I experienced the sleep paralysis demon. I have lived in 7 different states and 11 different towns. There has been something following me ever since. When my son was 11 we moved to a very old Mennonite community and we started noticing strange happenings. We would get up in the morning or come home from place and all of the drawers in my house were always thrown in the floor. Things got worse. My son and I moved a mattress into the living room and there we slept because we couldn’t go into the part of our house where our rooms were without getting an intense feeling of doom and fear. My son has Aspergers and he has always been “sensitive”. I found him when he was two talking to his twin that died in the womb before I had ever told him about her. Anyway, he started seeing a woman always in the hallway staring at us and not the friendly kind of State. He was absolutely terrified. I did some research at the local library and discovered that an old German woman had died in our house several years prior to us moving in. We got out of there. We moved back home to Kentucky a couple years ago and same thing started happening. Up until 8 months ago, it was constant. My Russian Blue had 7 kittens and 3 of them were black, all females but one. If you know anything about Russian Blues, then you would know that Russian Blues can’t produce black offspring, it is contrary to their genes. We have a tall portable cedar pantry and I sleep in the living room due to some medical issues, every night after dark he gets atop the pantry and watched me. Whenever I feel a presence he seems to know and he always jumps down and perches on my chest and the feeling seems to disappear. So I believe very much that black cats are very sensitive to the paranormal. I believe that they protect us.
I completely agree. Black cats can sense paranormal activity and misfortune. I have had a black cat since I was 25 and always have had one. I am 35 now and have numerous near death experiences since turning 25. And always got out of them alive. I have no other explanation them to attribute it to owning a black cat. They protect me from bad luck.
if you believe in spirits cats are good To drive them away especially the black cats because in the medieval times witches used black cats but witches didn’t particularly like spirits or so I read. So to protect them selves they cast protection spells on their cats so the spirits of all those who got killed by the witch couldn’t drag her down into hell.
I have lived in my house for 3 years, and it was built almost 100 years ago. I noticed a few good things and one or two scary things in the house at first, right away. At that time I only had one cat, which is white with some tabby markings, and then got a black tuxedo kitten.
After a about one year the tuxedo grew to be very big, bigger than his older “brother”. I notice no more scary things in the house at all. I began to realize that the cats are on my bed at night, and sense they are protecting me for some reason. As they chase each other a lot, it is easy not to notice other things, but I cannot deny the change in the energy of the house. Nothing messes with me now and I credit the cats
The original cat seems to be “working” as I call it, and is always staring at me. Sometimes it is creepy, but overall I get the sense both cats are here for a reason and two is better than one for purposes of spiritual safety. We need to think about why they act so odd, and not get too upset at our felines when they act up, since they are very forgiving and who knows…maybe they really are our protectors.

No other weird things have happened, in over a year, but when I first moved in a lot was going on here. The original cat seems to be “working” as I call it, as my former cat who died seemed to be doing as well. They seem to have a mission, and all I know is that my white/mixed cat is always staring at me. Sometimes it is creepy, but overall I get the sense they are here for a reason.

It may be a coincidence, but when we moved into our very old house, we had 1 indoor cat and 3 indoor dogs. A month later, our cat gave birth to 5 kittens. Up until this point we had crazy activity at our house almost every night. By the time the kittens were a month old, the activity in this house has all but stopped.
The mother cat is a tortie. 2 of her babies were black cats, 2 were orange tabbies, and one white. All were male.
i grew up with several black cats coming to visit me since the time before i could walk, apparently, until i left my childhood home at 13. i think there was something sacred about the place, it wasn’t just me, but it was a gift for me. I started to be scared later that i might be a witch or that black cats are bad luck, so i started to avoid them as much as possible. But now i’m learning black cats really lend energy of hidden powers and make us aware of mystery. Cats neutralize negative energy because their energy fields run contrary to us humans. The black cats coming to my home seemed to encourage self-confidence and awareness of independence and channelled to me reverence of life as it is. They have a psychic energy, particularly ones that seek you out. They are great companions to relieve distress in this world but you can never own them. They come only at their own whim. They are a gift.

I HAVE A BLACK CAT NAMED BLACK JAKE HE IS THE MOST LOVEING CAT I HAVE THAT IS SUCH A LYE MINE BRINGS ME GOOD LUCK
Mine did, she passed away last year at 18 years old.
I always have good luck when one’s around.
Cats in general can see in to the spirit realm and can warn you of spirits because they are psychic. Cats are our (witches) best familiars and companions.
ive heard that a black cat can “catch”evil. they are not bad at all, contrary to what people believe.
My grandpa was from Louisiana, and he always said that if a family started to have bad luck, or if “bad juju” started to seep into a house, their best bet is to get a white dog and a black cat. So, apparently, some people do believe that.
I think that cats generally just help people feel relaxed and safe.
I have heard that cat’s in general drive away negative spirits. I suppose a black cat would be better at this as black is a very strong color for protection.
My son is five and he sometimes tells me he’s afraid of monsters under the bed. I tell him no monsters can get him because monsters are afraid of cats and our cat does like to sleep with him. He rather likes the idea that our little black striped tabby protects him.
Yes, I’ve witnessed this before with my own infected, half-blind, and short-sited eyes!
Rosy O’Donnel was walking down my neighbourhood street one day when my black cat, Sir Snifflekins, Jumped out and scared Rosy back to Uranus. Needless to say, she waddled at full throttle and I was unable to catch her to bring her to your house so that you can learn more about “evil spirits”.
No , I believe black cats brings negativ energies. They are indicatrs of some unusual happening.
