Did you know that quatum physics has discovered the light has intelligence? How does this relate to the Bible?

In the Bible, Jesus is often referred to as the “light of the world”, and just plain light. Quantum physics has discovered that light has intelligence. When someone has a near death experience, they often describe going into “the light”, where some being is waiting for them. Could God be the intelligent light?
Here is the home page for this fantastic site: http://www.near-death.com/index.html
For all of you atheist who are stuck on science, this is worth checking out.
Thanks so much to all of you who actually took the time to check it out. That would be one of you. To the guy with the science degree (so say), you are not up to speed.
The person(s) who actually checks this out, and gives an answer that is based on the evidence will be in the running for best answer, no matter the opinion. If you aren’t going to check it out, spare me you uninformed views.
Light acts as both particles and waves, and also changes it’s behavior when it is being measured (observed). I found this video which explains this phenomenon. Light is able to distinguish whether it is being observed, and then acts differently than it would if it weren’t being observed. This is difficult for me to explain, but this video does it very well. It’s five minutes long, and well worth the time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usTOM8vffB4
The above vid is about an experiment called “The Double Slit Experiment”.

  1. That’s a pretty far stretch…
It’s like saying “air can talk”…when speech is nothing more than sound waves moving on the air…..

  2. Worst representations of science ever.. Light is made of photons that travel in straight lines. It is not intelligent.
What I found the most laughable aspect of that site was the fact that the “citations” for most of the claims were simply links to Geocities that were just mirrors of pages from that site…

  3. OK, I’ve read quite a bit of quatum physics (popular quantum physics books). Now in the whole world there are about a handful of people that truely understand quantum physics. Even the popular science texts on quantum physics can be hard going.
Then you present this website as “scientific evidence”. I’m sorry that website is rubbish. I looked at it and laughed. They have misinterpreted basic principles and tried to justify what they wrote by throwing in some scientifc principles which have no relation to their point.
Jesus may have been described as the light but in the Bible he was clearly defined a human. That is the first flaw in your theory.
    Take God in Genesis.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Surely if God was hovering over the waters there would have been light but the earth is clearly described as formless and empty. with darkness over the surface.
You are typically trying to bastardise science to prove God and it simply isn’t working.

  4. That’s very interesting. For many cultures and religions, the light is a symbol of faith, that’s why they light a candle when praying.
I heard before that bad spirits stay in the dark, and the good spirits go to the light. All the personification of Saints, they have the circle thing around their heads that is bright. Even the apostles could sometimes see Jesus bright. Our aura is bright and the brighter the best. I had a dream with my father who passed away in 2005 and he was in the middle of a bright light, I could only see his face.
I don’t know if light has intelligence, but I am sure it is the best symbol of the highest enlightenment.
Peace and may the Light brightens your life!
Edit: it is really amazing!! It is just like quantum physics experience with molecules of water. If we put a cup of water in a room where there is a fight going on and a cup of water in a room where somebody is praying, scientists found a huge different in the water molecules from one to the other.

    • I immediately noticed that, too!! And “atheist” should be plural; i.e., “atheists” (near the top, paragraph beginning: “For all of you atheist….” And you could use some help with sentence construction.
And best of all…..The heading on this page spells ‘quantum’ as ‘quatum’.
