Christians- What are your thoughts on " Progressive sanctification"?

progresive sanctification has been a mighty weapon in the hands of the devil, the positional -experiential, leagal- vital doctrine is a doctrine of unbeleif, sanctification is a realization of reality in Christ & not a progressive life long revelation & gradual renewing of the phyce. Its an awakening unto righteousness.
“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may KNOW” the blessings of heaven are not given in a seventy year instalment plan,& that depending on how well you fare in putting on the new man. NO NO NO!!!!!,the man or woman who came to Christ 5 minuets ago can walk in all the Supernatural Gifts & Fruits of Christ if they will simply beleive in their identity & inheritance in Christ, but start telling them that its something yet to be attained & comes only with spiritual growth, its puts them right back into performance mode & kills faith.
Do you ageree?

  1. The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! 😀
Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus! It is impossible to lose or “leave” salvation unless you sin. Hebrews 6:4-6 – (After the “enlightened” [baptized] fall away, they cannot be enlightened again.)
Acts 22:16 – “have yourself baptized and your sins washed away .Acts 16:30, 33 – “what must I do to be saved? … he and all his family were baptized
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing, 1 Cor 13 We are saved By Grace Alone thru faith, hope, and charity , but the greatest of these is charity (Love).
Mark 16:16 – “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved”
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish
John 6:54, “Whoever eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day.
John 6:55 – to clarify further, Jesus says “For My Flesh is food indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed.
That Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead .Colossians 2:12 – “burned with him in baptism .. raised with him [in] Faith . Believe this and you will be in heaven, no matter what! Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 4:5 – One Lord One Faith One Baptism…
Catholicism leads to eternal happiness in heaven, since Catholicism teaches a gospel
Of Life everlasting with Christ. Ephesians 4:5 – One Lord One Faith One Baptism
I’m a saved believer in Jesus

  2. Yes, Christ is our sanctification. (1 Cor 1:30) We cannot be more holy. Jesus is already our holiness, once we have believed in Him. 🙂 Progressive sanctification is not sound doctrine at all – it doesn’t glorify Jesus and His finished work.
Amen, sister, either we are in Christ or we are not. Blessings to you, precious Grace.

  3. In the vertical relationship with God which concerns our being “in Christ” our sanctification is perfect (Hebrews 10:10,14).
However in the horizontal relationship of being holy to other people around us, that is “being like Christ”, there is progressive sanctification. There is a process we go through where we put off the works of our flesh to the point that we live really with our flesh fully crucified in Christ and allow Christ alone to live through us (Galatians 2:20), or where we put off all the old things so that we can live the new creation life fully without hindrance from the old things (2 Corinthians 5:16,17) or where we have to put off the old man and put on the new man (Ephesians 4:22-24). We all have to go through a process of being transformed to be like Christ on earth and this to me is progressive sanctification (Hebrews 10:14). Another way of looking at it is that when we do not in any way act in our flesh but always in the Spirit then we reach the end of our progressive sanctification . This is working out our salvation! God bless you sister Grace.
