Christians can you care and also not care?

Here is a secret on how to live your life as if you are in the kingdom of God. We are to care about this world with out whole heart; because the world is God’s gift to be used, with thanksgiving, for the promotion of God’s Kingdom. We are called to care with our Whole Soul, Our Whole Mind, Our Whole Strength because we’re part of the world- it’s us. And We are Called to Make it Better. Nothing is Separate. At the same time, We Are “Not To Care” in the sense of becoming overidentified with our own EGO INTERESTS.
Can YOU CARE INTENSELY AND, AT THE SAME MOMENT, NOT CARE AT ALL? IF YOU CAN THAT IS SPIRITUAL FREEDOM. THAT IS GOD’S GREATEST GIFT TO US.
THEN WE WILL BE A PEOPLE TO WELCOME THE KINGDOM.
WE AS THE PEOPLE OF GOD ARE TO LOVE THE EARTH; THE GROUND, THE PLANTS, ANIMALS, ALL THE WATERS; USE THE ANIMALS, THE GROUND, THE WATER, THE FRUIT.
BUT WE ARE NOT LOVE PRODUCTS MADE BY MAN TO DESTROY THE EARTH. THAT IS ADULT SEXUAL ITEMS MADE TO TAKE US A WAY FROM GOD, ALL SINFUL THINGS WE MUST NOT CARE ABOUT.

  1. I am going to go with god on this one… The world does not recognize god…and we do not love the things of this world which are grounded in false value.
1 John 2:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

  2. I think we’re supposed to ‘care’ as much as God does.
Ego is our self-identification of what we think of ourselves. Our esteem. As we follow Jesus, – we don’t care as to what WE think of ourselves, – we consider what Jesus thinks of us. With a true Christian, – this ends up being our ‘self’ esteem.
And that starts with John 3:16 and ends with Romans 7:14-25
    (v. 15) For that which I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. (v. 16) But if I do the very thing I do not wish to do,

  3. We are to love God with our whole heart.
We are to love others as ourselves
We are to take care of the earth.
Not sure what you mean but…

  4. We as Christians are to be ‘in’ this world but NOT ‘of’ this world. (Our ‘Residence’ is in Heaven, and not this ‘worldly system’.) “We” are just passing through.

  5. Love is a wide range spectrum from your family to the pet dog. Some are on the other end of the spectrum down there with your goldfish.

  6. Certainly. ‘Love your neighbor’ but not because of self-interest. I just heard of a Madamme in one African nation where she arranged jobs for young girls as prostitutes supposedly for their good. What’s unmentioned, of course, is the harvest she ‘s making on the side.
The real ‘care’ is what Mother Theresa did. She cared for the dying ‘without caring’ about herself.
