Can Zen Meditation help me overcome my laziness and make me a winner?

I have been lazy since I was 16. I have a good potential but I am just plain lazy(to study , to clean etc,,) I want to become a Flash Developer so I would study 1 day then do nothing for 4 days then I have to restart all over again. Lack of motivation? I don’t know a long time ago I was a passionate by chess , would play all day but would refuse to study the new variances in the opening book. I want to change my life with Zen!! I noticed that I dream very deeply since I start Zen Meditation. Can Zen change my life & make me a winner? I am 48 I need to change now!!

  • the fact that you are labeling yourself as lazy is exactly what Zen is not. In zen there are no lazy, bum, stupid, arrogant or selfish. Zen treats all practioners equal. It is a part of spirtual evolution we partake when we mediate. No one is perfect. Everyone who practices Zen has his/her flows and shortcomings. Zen is forgiving. Just sit down and meditate… and be gentle to yourself.. and you will evolve in a genle, kind and natural way… good luck

  • It is Better for Man to Struggle with a “Reluctant Earth ,than to be Idol:”Lazy” The Road You are taking is a Dead End:

  • Well, Zen meditation will make you more aware of the way things are without all those assumptions and hopes we all carry around with us.

But what you do with that awareness is up to you. Maybe you’ll find that you are happy being lazy. Or maybe you will decide to change how you are.

Either way it will be you that does it. For Zen is you.

    Good luck.

  • You wil be a winner when you decide you are not a loser. Being blessed cannot be given to you from another. It is a self realization. You as the rest of the world are made up of the almighty himself. This technically makes you more then a winner.

    YOU ARE DIVINE

JUST NEED TO REALIZE IT & REMEMBER

    NOW

HOW CAN GOD BE A LOSER?

    ITS IMPOSSIBLE

BUT IF YOU ARE GOD AND DONT REALIZE IT!

THAT IS ABOUT AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN COME!

    YOU ARE NOT A LOSER

    YOU ARE GOD

  • If it is a good mediation technique it will change your life… but with anything worthwhile, you have be be persistent and understand what you are doing.

The tricky part comes as the body and mind is changing… some people didn’t expect the cleansing process, so they drop the practice just when they are undergoing their biggest changes!

  • Lazy from 16 to 48….I don’t know old habits like that are hard to break

But try Zen Meditation out, I’m sure it couldn’t hurt. Any type of meditation helps clear the mind which can be good for procrastination.
