  • I always thought of this quote as a paraphrased version,

    “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”

    I think he was trying to imply that despite his unsurpassed gift for thinking in an abstract way that has brought some of the biggest breakthroughs, he appreciated the more common gift of human imagination moreso.

    I could be wrong, though
