First.anger doesn’t really last any longer then two second..it only remains if you constantly think about it. Second. the benefits of meditations are: improvement of body luster and general health-When your mind focuses on a particular part of the body, the blood flow to that part increases and cells receive more oxygen and other nutrients in abundance and improvement in concentration because when you come under pressure, your body will be under control and is able to provide effective guidance to the physical body to effectively execute all its projects.

Have you ever heard someone say to stop and count to 10 before responding to something when your initial feeling is based on anger? I would call this almost the same as meditation. It allows you to slow down and hopefully reflect enough to respond with a well-considered response. If you take the time to consider a response that respects the well-being of all parties involved, I believe you will always come out ahead. I hope this is some help.

it can definitely help, but you have to be willing to give it a real try because it might take a while before you’re comfortable with it. i’ve found stretching every muscle and listening to soothing music, especially with a group who are also meditating, really refreshes and calms me. it’s kind of incredible how rejuvenated a little down time can make you feel.
