Can both "Ghosts" and reincarnation exist together?

Spirits, ghost, whatever you may call them, can they coexist in theory with the idea of reincarnation? Regardless of if either are actually true, if they were could they coexist?

  1. yes and here’s why;
don’t listen to whatever other mumbo-jumbo everyone else is gonna try and tell you here, there are THREE parts that make up a human being.
    1. body. when we die, the body that came from the earth gets recycled back into the earth. when we go, say bye to your body.
    2. mind. this seperates us from animals. they run on instincts while we use tact and reasoning and memory and emotion. when we die, remnants of these can linger.
    3. soul. when we die, the soul gets recycled also, but not in the physical world. the soul is pure and of a different plane. we go up and we recharge, then we come back.
so yup, they do co-exist. if you’re lucky, you may even meet your own ghost one day!

  2. Yes they can ghosts are spirits who haven’t crossed over due to unfinished buisness but when they cross over they will go on the natural course and eventually will be reincarnated so yes they can

  3. I have a belief in reincarnation. I am not so sure about ghosts. I am skeptical, but keep my mind open to the possibility of them.
As a believer in reincarnation, I could see how it could fit in. Ultimately, I believe we come into this life to learn certain lessons. Once we have learned that lesson, we move on to a place of waiting, until we are reincarnated again, to learn another lesson. I think ghosts can be explained by those who are forced to leave life early, before the lesson was learned. They stick around, because they feel incomplete. They are out of phase. They need to accomplish what they come to accomplish before they can move on, but they no longer have a physical body, so they are frustrated. They need to be guided to where they need to go, so they can be reincarnated again. That, or the spirit (ghost) is too attached to the material world, and wants to continue to touch it in some way, rather than move on.
That’s my theory, as a non-believer in ghosts.

  4. Yes. reincarnation is a spirits second life. a ghost that doesnt want to leave for one reason or another. but you will never find a ghost meeting with its reincarnation. maybe a likeness of its image but not the spirit itself.

  5. What are ghosts?
The Bible says that one third of the angels rebelled against God (see my page on Satan for more info). Satan (Lucifer) was the angel in charge of this rebellion. These angels were punished by being banished from heaven.
Satan hates man. Man has a relationship with God that angels could never have. Man was made in the image and likeness of God. Satan is jealous of this and hates us for it. He wants to deceive human kind into rejecting God, so that man will share the same punishment that he is destined for.
Satan knows that one single lie wont be effective in deceiving everyone. So he came up with several. Some men would be deceived by Ghosts and reincarnation. Others would adopt an evolutionary philosophy, that the world created itself without God. Others would be deceived into believing in pagan gods, etc…
I believe (and the Bible says) that Satan sends fallen angels to earth to deceive us. Satan wants us to doubt the existence of God. He wants man to share in his punishment.
Part of this deception is the appearance of “ghosts”. Satan wants man to believe that these are the spirits of people who have died. That they have overcome the chains of death and returned.
This is opposite of what the Bible says happens when we die. By being presented with these spirits one tends to question if the Biblical destination after death is the correct one. Because if ghosts exist, then clearly heaven does not.
    Past Lives
Some people believe in Reincarnation. They believe that they are destined to repeat their lives over and over until they “get it right”.
But the Bible clearly says that we are not reincarnated but that we live once and die once, and after this we face the judgment seat of Christ.
    Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)says:
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

  6. It’s a big universe. Lots of options. In many belief systems that include reincarnation, there is an idea of a time spent in between lives, of a spiritual waystop between incarnations. The word “bardo” is often used for this place or state of being.
Plus, spirits can be in two places at once. A spirit can go to “heaven” and still stay close to the people who loved that person, at the same time. I suppose a spirit can enter a new lifetime, but still have a ghost image that people can connect to. In my experience, few things are impossible.

  7. Maybe ghosts are waiting to be reincarnated. Maybe they haven’t “gone to the light” so that their souls can return in a new body.
