Calling all stong christians! Subject:Auras?

Ok so i’m 13 years old (i’m a christian) , and i’m very interested in paranormal stuff, and i believe that i am something called a Crystal Child. And lately i have been intersted in auras. So i’ve been seeing auras and training myself to see them. And my friend who I really respect because she is so obiediant to God, and this is a time when we are suppossed to be “rebellious teenagers”. And so i was talking to her about how i am interested in auras and seeing them, and she seems to be stongly against it, and saying that its like playing with fire. And that i should stop because its not Christian. Oh and just to tell you she didn’t even know what auras were untill i explained it to her. And she also worried about me being a Crystal Child… And i’m not saying that there are no risks on trying to see your aura. But could you please tell why its wrong to see your aura? Or is its not wrong. Becuz i respect my friend’s opion.
Thanks for all the questions so far, but people keep on comparing seeing auras to witchcraft and the like. And remember that a aura is a electromagnetic feild. And whats i’ve heard that very interesting is that back in biblical times people had stronger auric sight. So ya know how jesus and angels are drawn with halos? Well aparently the halos are actually there auras, and some of the painters were able to see these auras and so there for included them in there paintings. Oh yeah and i don’t get myself into Reikki or Oujie bourds. My dad before i was born was into that new age stuff and got himself demon possed. So he seems to be suporting me seeing my aura but also warning me to be careful. And i trust my dad.

  1. I’m sorry. could you please explain what an aura is
and what on earth is a crystal child?
I looked aura up in the dictionary and it says a blowing in the wind. I don’t think that’s the right one…

  2. I don’t see why it would be condemned, if you can see auras then god could have given you that gift for a reason…
How can a soul “not be Christian”?

  3. Aura’s and Crystals are new names for old things, namely occult. The bible condems these practices.
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these,
of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you,
that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God

  4. you should pray about this and discuss it with the youth leader at your church! this isnt the place to get a good answer honestly. your asking a large group of mainly atheist. seriously..go pray and ask your pastor or youth leader! but for me , the little i know about it. it is like mixing all religionsinto one and adding a twist of magic! which if i am correct then it is very evil .the internet said that auras was where god took a “back seat” to religion ! hmmmmm, def. wrong if it is so! but ask a pastor first!

  5. Christians view metaphysical things (reading auras, tarot cards, astrology or other such practices) to be of the occult or of “the devil”. It says somewhere in the Bible to beware of fortune tellers (not an exact quote). I don’t remember the exact verse, but my little sister used to quote it to me all the time.
I agree with Mirage. I think it is a gift.

  6. The following is found in the book of Deteuronomy:
10There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
The Lord strictly forbids anything dealing with witchcraft, sorcery, etc. He calls it an abomination: BDB Definition:
    1) a disgusting thing, abomination, abominable
1a) in ritual sense (of unclean food, idols, mixed marriages)
1b) in ethical sense (of wickedness etc)
These are also referred to as idol worship in the old testament which is anything that is put before God. This is covered in the first commandment. It may seem harmless and innocent, but can open a door that you may not be able to shut. It is the same as playing with Ouija boards which can be very dangerous (know from personal experience). Do not get sucked in to something you do not understant and which could harm you.
    God bless!

  7. A Christian is one who has accepted Jesus Christ into their heart and has given Him control of their life.
They read His Book to learn His ways, learn His teachings and learn how to follow Him.
His Book clearly forbids interaction with the occult. All things paranormal from auras, spirits, horoscopes, evolution and on and on. This also includes believing in the demonic lie known as a Crystal Child .
What you think is a Crystal Child is a most destructive lie of the Devil. They supposedly begin as Indigo, and transition into “Crystal” which is also called “Christ”.
It all has to do with evolution and that it is the next level of the evolution of man.
Renounce this practice and repent to God of this wicked sin before it takes you over!
By all things good and Holy, for Jesus’ sake get with a preacher of God’s Word immediately and seek his wisdom.
I urge you, do not mess around with this.

  8. auras are not paranormal. the bible is against the occults, and auras are not apart of it. when drawing jesus many people have drawn a white glow, and when people have seen angle or looked upon the disciples believed that thry also had a glowing light or aura around them, i.e. halos . i think it’s unfair to put auras in the same level as the occult when everyone has the abilty to see them if they tried. i beilive auras are the heat energy raidiating from our soul within our, auras itself are not evil or good its only the reflection of a person.

  9. I had to wrestle with this myself.
Auras are not occult. We all have biofields around us, they are proven. Energy is a real thing, we’re all made of it, the universe is created with it. It’s a difficult subject because is hard to understand. We used to not do autopsies because it was “evil”- Ben Franklin had to do them privately in a basement. Meridians are there- Jesus created us in likeness of him. We have thousands of years of proof. The human body is a beautiful creation and we are to keep it pure and holy by our actions and intentions! When it comes to occult things (such as Indigo children, fortunetelling, etc which are not Christian At All), Absolutely stay away. The main message is and always will be Jesus at the center of everything. Your core your being your life. Our mission is to find our gifts he has given and use them for his glory- for people to know of him through us. I may be the first true Christian accupuncturist soon! Spreading Jesus’s good news with the ability to heal. Can I see people’s auras? Yes. We all have one. Do I believe in BALANCE in people’s lives? YES. Even Jesus “meditated” aka prayed and silently basked in God’s precious teachings early every morning, and rested on the Sabbath. Remember and stand firm the true message, Jesus Christ is Lord of all, and do not toss or fro like waves. His love for humans is unconditional and he wants EVERY human to come back to him through Jesus, and THIS is the light and message we are to meditate upon and live life with his intention. Glory be to our Lord and Savior forever, amen!

  10. My comment before that one didn’t post. maybe it was too long. I don’t have time to share my testimony coming out of the New Spirituality/ New Age Occult right now but you can email me & I’d be more than happy to via email.
Til then here’s something you should definately read. It will clear up some of what you asked.

  11. no it wasn’t “aura’s” mentioned in the Bible. And yes, aura’s are a part of practicing divination. so is astrology etc. These are the “Deeper truths” aka “synogogue of satan” mentioned in Scripture. Remember that satan masquerades as an angel of light.. so do his servants. there are many miraculous signs & wonders that satan will do to deceive people into the occult realm. in fact, God sends people a strong delusion who love not the truth & let satan tickle their ears. You can go too extreme w/ this healing & health & wellness stuff too. Discernment is key in knowing what is evil & what isn’t. Look up Familiar spirits. I eat organic & am all about herbs so take it from me… i know how far is too far & reiki & acupuncture is TOO FAR. (that was in response to the person who is becoming a “christian” accupuncturist)

  12. Question: “How should a Christian view the idea of auras? What does the Bible say about auras?”
Answer: Auras are believed to be subtle energy fields or fields of light emanating from human beings, as well as all living things, surrounding them like a bubble. It is claimed that the human aura indicates the spiritual, physical, and emotional state of a person via the color, depth, and strength of the aura. The colors are interpreted as indicating a feeling, experience, state of health, or quality possessed by the owner. Reading or scanning a person’s aura is allegedly done by some psychics and also by those in some areas of alternative healing therapies. Auras are allegedly seen through clairvoyance, a paranormal ability to see the non-material realm. It is thought that people either have innate supernatural abilities to see auras or can develop psychic powers to see them. Belief in auras is an integral part of occult, particularly among those whose beliefs follow New Age teachings, Wicca, or witchcraft, all of which are condemned in Scripture as abhorrent to God. The Bible strongly condemns spiritism, mediums, the occult, and psychics (Leviticus 20:27; Deuteronomy 18:10-13).

  13. I wish I had the “Answer” for you, but it is one that I have thought about alot. I really haven’t ever come across a christian that reads auras. The people that I know that are into reading auras, have gone off to very strange spiritual pratices. So, for me, I have decided, that this is not a good fruit.
Though, I have never heard a christian really talk about the subject, well not indept as I would like to here. I have heard good and bad things, but I think it is a great unknown.
I know many people are gifted by god and then satan comes and snatches them up.
My advice, talk to your pastor, and then if you truly want to know, someone has sugested to me once, that you give all gifts back to God, and you must really mean it, and if it really is of him, he will return it. I thought that was an interesting approach. All I can say is that you need to be careful, you are in waters, that most people don’t understand, and it can take over at any time.

    • Q. 1. What is the chief end of man?
      A. Man’s chief end…is to glorify God,.. [a] and to enjoy him…for ever. [b]
      Proof Texts
      [a]. Ps. 86:9; Isa. 60:21; Rom. 11:36; I Cor. 6:20; 10:31; Rev. 4:11
      [b]. Ps. 16:5-11; 144:15; Isa. 12:2; Luke 2:10; Phil. 4:4; Rev. 21:3-4
seeking to see auras…does not glorify God..it glorifies…gives glory..to..see article link
      be like the Bereans
be a workman (mastercraftsman) when it comes to understanding and referencing Holy Scriptures

      • May I add, having read that article previously to this page, that an analogy of that kind would leave seeking answers to literally anything a danger to glorying God. Seeking knowledge about auras is not harmful or sinful nor taking any glory away from God. In fact I would go so far to say glory and recognition are actively being given to God because the question was posed in order to more scriptural define oneself in Him. Be careful friend, questions are always welcome from God’s children. Also the article is extremely biased. It focuses on the occult rather than the question, which claims to use auras but does not own the theory, ergo it is not consequential.

  14. I can put a stop, to “all” this. (What dose the bible say about “AURAS”). Go to this website, http://www.openbible.info, and go to category “A” or topic “A”. And go all the way down to until you see AU, or AURAS or whatever. Click on it, and there will be a list over a “100” scriptures about “AURAS”. Please, don’t act like you all know “the bible”of some sort. If your not for sure what the this “AURA” subject is about. Go to the lord in prayer, and asks him for “sign” for what it is. If you can’t understand, look it up in general on the internet, or in the bible link above. If this link is not active, then find it and go to it. For now on, this will be y’all “bible study”. For thing’s you don’t know of the spirit. God bless.

  15. it is not wrong to look at aura your not invoking any spirit to make you see aura. All your doing is looking at it, and you’ll just naturally see it. There is a catch when you see aura your aura also change or you glow, and entity are attracted to it. So just make sure you have good amount of protection. Remember entity can attack anybody at will, and they are attracted to that glow.

  16. I was intrigued by your question, especially concerning you were 13 when you wrote it… and you deserve a thoughtful and helpful reply. There are many well-meaning cautious Christians who fear that which they don’t understand, and rightly so – as long as Believer’s reach our conclusion without fear and it is Biblically sound. The Biblical answers on the website that deals with “aura’s” by Jacob and eTerry Lee did not adequately address your question, but it was great reading through the scriptures. 🙂 As God’s children, we must be wise as serpents and gentle as doves, for we know that our enemy seeks out those he can deceive. I praise God for you, young one!
But IF what you are representing is true, that you can see a persons energy (which reflects an emotion or a spiritual condition perhaps?) and it truly is from the Lord, I would say you need instruction. Note; I am not certain that all things posted on the Internet is actually a real person with a real problem, but IF you really have the ability to see one’s spirit / soul emanating in the form of a color, well then I would consider it as a gift, and then ask Holy Spirit to reveal for what purpose in God’s kingdom does He wish to accomplish His will through you. Remember, satan is the great imitator. He can only COPY what God has created. Satan cannot create. He can twist, distort, and pollute, but God’s gifts are pure, and irrevocably right and true. Only the flesh and the enemy can cause us to distort God’s gifts. We must renounce that which is evil, and give glory to God for what He has given. But that being said, I would seek out those who walk with God uprightly, and who understand supernatural gifts. Yes, we must be a Berean first, KNOW scripture front and back, and spend much time in praying with the Word open in front of you. When you ask the Lord to reveal the truth, He will! I would recommend contacting Bethel church in Redding, to speak with a mature pastor and get balance Biblical answers and prayer on your gift. I am from Oregon and I would be glad to talk this over and pray with you. Be blessed little warrior. Do not be discouraged. The Lord God loves you and has called you for His glory. Press into Jesus, as if your life depends on it – because it does! You are the next generation that the Lord is raising up to battle! May the Lord rich bless you ~Grace http://awakeningredding.com/

    • Not true I’m a born again Christian and seeing auras is the gift of spiritual discernment the auras tell u what is affecting the person so you can pray for deliverance the occult is a counterfeit of everything spiritually pure so if god has given you the gift to see auras then on the flip side you can learn to read auras with the help of occult and demonic influence at a price .. I see auras my discernment is very strong and the auras I see on those closest to me without even trying I can tell you if their having issues with this is definately a real gift of he spirit for the edification and exhortation of the Church ..

  17. Listen carefully friend: Depending on who you ask you will get a million different awnsers. Some will call it witchcraft, some will see no problem with it. Most who call it witchcraft do so because they don’t know anything about it, and its much easier to say “just don’t do it” then it is to actually know anything about it.
There is VERY solid science behind auras. The body emits electromagnetic energy. That is a fact/ no debating that.. Many people claim to see that energy.. For those people to be called out as preforming “witchcraft” that claim to see auras is complete foolishness.
If people emit energy its not out of the question to beleive some can see it.
Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep questioning.
I have been a youth minister for 5 years. I fully beleive in Auras and energy.
    Best of luck.

  18. Seeing auras are performed out of psychic abilities. You need to stay away from stuff like that because you are not using the Holy Spirit. There may be some scientific credence to it but the scientific community also thinks we came from monkeys. You are opening yourself up to the occult. Psychic abilities are from the devil.

  19. Here is a great response from a source I love: https://www.gotquestions.org/auras-Christian.html
In short, there is NO biblical evidence to support “auras.” We should look to the Bible, and only the Bible, for all things in life. The Bible condemns witchcraft, mediums, psychics, and the occult. Since it is considered to be of the like, I think it it something to stay away from.

  20. I am a Christian and have discussions about this topic with several pastors with mixed results. I have seen auras since I was a child, please note, I do not actively seek to see them it just happens. I have been approached by so called aura readers, literally on the street, because they claim I am a Crystal Aura, not to be confused as a Crystal Child, they are not the same. The basic run down I can give. If you are seeking to read auras, than it may not be a God given gift, it is reaching into the occult. If you honestly are a Crystal Aura type, then you have to be careful as the occult can pull you in quite easily, vice versa, your talent can be used as it should for God’s Glory. I do not tell people what their aura colors are, but it does tell me how they are feeling, if they are lying, or if they are need of prayer. It is a useful gift in the church for alter workers who are there to help those needing prayer, sometimes people can’t put into words their pain, but as someone who sees auras you can get a sense. I have never been trained by anyone to read auras or do any type of healing. My ability is more like a 6th sense, it helps me navigate the world, as I am hearing impaired. That was always my theory for my ability, kind of like when you are blind your hearing in more in tune. I can not often hear emotion reflected in someone’s speech, but I can see it in their aura. The advice I got from pastors was basically be careful, don’t go seeking to be more than what I am, in other words don’t look to the occult to make my ability stronger, let it be as given, let it grow as given. I don’t go seeking, but it has come seeking me. It is very uncomfortable to have someone come up and say you are such and such aura, you have great psychic ability, come let us help you use your gifts. My pastor at the time did believe auras were real, but really didn’t have an answer as to why some could see them. Its all in how you use your gift as to whether it conflicts with your faith I think. There is never anything wrong with asking questions and seeking guidance. My advice, if you are seeking this ability, if it is not something that comes naturally to you, you should stop, you could be treading into something you don’t want to get into. If you truly feel you were given this gift, than pray for guidance, you will get an answer, may not be what you want to hear, but the answer will come.
