Below you’ll find 11 directories in my HD.Do you see that Wicca and Witchcraft are two separate directories?

Quabalah
rituals
Set
Shamanism
Tarot
TGD
Thelema
Wicca
Witchcraft
Yoga
zorasterism
Each directory has anything from 20 to 150 files.

A person that believes themselves a Witch may Join a Wiccan Circle/Coven, but Wiccans do not have to be witches. Therefore the studies of the two are separated.
I do wish those of the Bibles, would take time to learn more than what they are told or read from a single Book by reading actual documents of other religions before they get childishly snotty.
FYI, I had a bunch of Answers e-mail this morning telling me I was wrong, and, I was pronunced evil in some. It’s interesting to hear the younguns know all words when I was around when Wicca was birthed.

  • witchcraft and wicca can be joined but they dont have to be, and a witch can be catholic or any other religion if they wish as technically a witch is someone who performs rituals…and what do they do in church? herbalists could be called witches as they behave as a village wise woman would….
A wiccan honours nature but may not do rituals or spells, a pagan may live a life looking after nature but never do rituals.
There are so many different lines within both wicca, witchcraft and paganism that basically its up to the individual.
Personnally I am pagan, I honour a goddess not a god and I vow to do the best I can to look after this planet we call home.

  • Yes, there should be two different directories since they are differences between Wicca and Witchcraft. Some are:

-Wiccans follow “The Wiccan Red” and “The Law of Three”
-Traditional Witchcraft follows no rede and no Law of 3 but the “Returning Energy” principle.

-Wiccans cast circles and calls the “Watchtowers”
    -Witchcraft practitioners summon Guardians

-Wiccans have a “Book of Shadows”
-Witchcrafter practitioners is called a grimoire

Also the rites and practices themselves are different. This also varies on the particular group practicing. Not all Wiccans are Witches and vice versa.

  • I have known it for some time now but thanks for pointing it out to others. And I have to agree, I would love to peak into those files but they are yours.

    Bright Blessings )O(

  • THANK YOU FOR THAT, WE REALLY SHOULD DO AS YOU ARE AND TRY TO EDUCATE THESE CHRISTIANS A BIT! THE ONE THAT REALLY GETS AT ME IS THAT WE ARE EVIL! WHERE DO THEY GET THAT FROM??

  • It is a common belief, perhaps misconception that Wicca are more evil.I have nothing to say about that as I do not know,my problem is simple. They do not believe in The One True God.

  • Same here. Most people in the US are pretty much assimilated into the Christian culture and so we know at least something about it, but a lot of Christians don’t take the time out to learn about other religions or even non-religions. I myself am not religious, as I have not yet found the religion I fit into.
