Astrology is a pseudoscience claiming divination by the positions of the planets and sun and moon. The birthday is the date you are born. I see no correlation

WHY CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY? YOUR ANNIVERSARY?
They have nothing to do with astrology … which isn’t a science.
That said, I don’t celebrate my birthday and anniversary celebrations are not left to my discretion 😉

Birthdays and anniversaries aren’t astrology. Astrology isn’t science. It’s imaginary, just like God. Churches are probably sensitive of other imagined metaphysical cosmology moving in on their turf.

I celebrate my birthday because I was raised to do so.
I celebrate my anniversary because like most men, if I don’t, then it will either be a very lonely bed, or a very lonely couch.

I don’t celebrate my birthday, I do celebrate my anniversary otherwise my wife would make sure I had no more birthdays to not celebrate.

Astrology isn’t a science. It isn’t based on the scientific method, and it makes unsubstantiated claims. Every time astrology has been properly tested using the scientific method it has been shown to be nonsense.

Astrology is superstition, not science. Astronomy is a science.
Celebrating my birthday is more my friends’ idea than mine, but it’s fun. I don’t have a wedding anniversary, but if I did, I’d probably celebrate it because I’m something of a romantic, and I so enjoy the way my girlfriend blushes and goes all girl on me when I bring her flowers.

I’m afraid you’ve confused astrology for astronomy.

Astrology is gibberish and fraud, it’s a form of magic and the only trouble with magic is that it does not work.

I never knew that churches said that astrology is against god… that is ridiculous. ASTROLOGY is where the whole ‘god’ and ‘jesus’ story comes from. Churches are against astrology because it proves that they are wrong.

The problem is the early church condemned science as following Satan. So it is still a long road before they accept it again.

Astrology isn’t science my dear. Astronomy? Totally science. Astrology? Not so much.

Astrology is a science in the same way as alchemy is chemistry.
