World Tai Chi & Qigong Day
Mass Tai Chi & Qigong (Chi Kung) exhibitions begin in the earliest time zone of New Zealand, and then expand at 10 am across the planet to hundreds of events in 60 nations. The goal is to educate the public, media, etc. to the emerging medical research indicating profound benefits that the ancient Chinese mind/body health sciences of Tai Chi & Qigong offer. But, also to provide the world a vision of global cooperation for the sole purpose of advancing personal and global health & healing. World Tai Chi & Qigong Day has been recognized by the United Nations World Health Organization, the US Dept of Health & Human Services NHIC as a National Health Observance Day, and has been recognized by governors, senates, and mayors of various nations.
