Are there some good methods for stopping negative energy?

It really does interfere with my ability to function as a happy human being, so any tips and pointers would be useful.


  1. i doubt that this is not right, so really, dont trust me on this one, but maybe–just maybe, if you act happy, and put a smile on your face, then the negative energy will kill itself.

  2. yoga style some peace, trust me i work around lots of people everyday, and for some quiet time and to relax i sit in front of my televisin with headphones on and my favorite music playing and do stretches, yoga style if your giving it aname, have fun and good lluck

  3. close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and say outloud “la la la la, I can’t hear you.”
    seriously, avoid negative people at all costs or severely reduce your amount of time spent with them. think of good happy things and focus on them instead. plan and spend time alone, with pets, nature and with those who are positive to balance it out…
    theres also something called thought stopping that takes practice but can work…
    google ‘thought stopping’ for more info.
    also, find what makes you laugh and laugh alot…a sense of humor is invaluable

  4. Surround yourself with real friends and jokes. Don’t let all the beauratical bs pull you down. If a friend, gf/bf, family member or whatever brings you down more avoid them as much as possible and when you must be around them stay positive. If it’s a friend or gf/bf just drop em like a hot potato.

  5. mix salt in water with which you clean floors.light incense sticks daily and open your windows more often to let in fresh energy.poonam

  6. Spare sometime to think about yourself honestly to get an honest reflection of what you want or don’t want in your life.
    Negative energy is sometimes caused by our inability to figure out what we *really* want in life, so it’s just some kind of manifestation.

    1. EXERCISE! The adrenaline hits your blood and you feel GREAT!
    2. Nutrition – eating only good, natural foods.
    3. Get enough sleep. If you have to wake up early in the morning, go to sleep earlier in the evening. Going to bed even 30 minutes earlier can make a huge difference in your energy levels during the day!
    4. Dump all unnecessary stuff in a big garbage can, and you’ll be able to breathe easier and have more energy.
    5. Drink more water. Being dehydrated makes you feel tired and irritable. Most people need at least 8 cups of water per day.
