  1. the online walmart has some, just go to books and type in wicca in their search box. however, i need to tell you that Jesus loves you and will be waiting when you’re ready.

  2. “Wicca for Dummies” is actually quite good, however it is heavily Gardernerian. There is a wonderful book out called “When someone you love is Wiccan”….I highly recommend it for family members. You can also try “The Cult Experience” by J. Gordon Melton….he is a Methodist minister that studies the cult phenomenon and he actually speaks very highly of Wicca and reassures parents. Weird I know, but it’s a great place to start.
    Good luck on your journey!

  3. Hmmm, not so much. I wouldn’t worry too much about it as long as your parents don’t kick you out of the house. Wicca has had its share of hatred and controversy over the years. If nothing else, let them read a Ray Buckland book.
Also, ignore the people that say “God hates the occult” or whatever. Things such as that were added to make King James happy. The original Bible is actually much more anti-poisoning than anti-magick.
I think that if your parents are afraid of your soul being lost or something, it’s because of the line in Exodus, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” It REALLY says, “Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live.” Chashaph is the Hebrew word for poisoner–not witch, like what is posted in the KJV.

  4. Wicca for one by Raymond Buckland or Buckland’s complete book of Witchcraft. Wicca and Living Wicca by Scottt cuninghams are also good. A.J. Drews Wicca for men is also a good one. It says Wicca for men, but is actually an explaination of the relationship of the God and Goddess.
