Any Chanters on here?

“When deluded, one is called an ordinary being, but when enlightened, one is called a Buddha. This is similar to a tarnished mirror that will shine like a jewel when polished. A mind now clouded by the illusions of the innate darkness of life is like a tarnished mirror, but when polished, it is sure to become like a clear mirror, reflecting the essential nature of phenomena and the true aspect of reality. Arouse deep faith, and diligently polish your mirror day and night. How should you polish it? Only by chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.”
–Nichiren, On Attaining Buddhahood in This Lifetime

  1. No, I am not a chanter, but I do believe that if you master that discipline that you will live life on a higher level… I used to meditate, a long time ago, and it’s hard work, but soooo worth it!!! I need to get back to that…..

  2. DUDE! that was my answer! I have been using that chant since 1977, i swear! it works and I was very shocked you put that in because anyone I’ve ever spoken to about it have never heard of it or know anyting about it, but I know it works and it is a very positive chant. thanks, you’ve made my day. never heard of the CD though.
