We have 2 choices who to follow. God or satan. Now satan is cleaver and disguises the fact that he is trying to lead us. He uses new age type thinking to turn us away from the TRUE God.
But if we read our bible everyday and obey God he will lead us. His ways are perfect. He has a plan for us.
Unless you are a split personality, I don’t see how the mind can
not follow consciousness. Life is consciousness. If you are not happy with what is going on in life then correct your thinking. Action
follows thoughts.
Maybe you don’t deeply believe the things you claim are the
inner thoughts, or you feel rebellious.
A little story: In our early days the USA was a sparsely settled
country. People had to go some distance for most any thing
they needed. We also were engaged in warlike activities with
the Natives who had lived here for centuries. Two early settlers
were on their way through the forest to their sunday meeting.
Both carried their loaded muskets. When they got to church
someone asked them “If you don’t believe that you will die until
you’re time comes, why do you carry fire arms to church?”
Their answer was,” well, we might meet a couple of those savages
whose time has come.”
Sometimes our beliefs are just intellectual and not from the heart.
