Please don’t send me verses about sorcery and witchcraft. I’m asking about crystals.

By crystals I mean for things like reiki wands or something.

  • The “truth” can be argued with validity from both sides of the discussion.
What’s right lies in your heart. You will feel it.
We quote the bible yet we know it has been re-written many times by many a man to suit the relevant times.
We all know man lies. You lie. I lie. FACT.
Don’t look for God in the words of a man. Find God in everything else

  • It’s all about intentions I believe. If you are using the crystals with the intention to do anything detestable to God, then you are sinning. If you are using crystals for intentions such as healing one self by utilizing the energy emanating from the crystal, then how would that be a bad thing since God put them here?

We use crystals in almost every type of electronics because of their crystalline structure, are those things bad if used in accordance with God’s will?

I’m not 100% sure, but I believe intentions have everything to do with it…………..

  • ^ The problem with both of those is that your worshiping the creation rather than the creator. Thats panthiesm/paganism which is not what the bible preaches. Jesus will cure all of your problems if you ask, you dont need to be searching for some cure in stones or anything else other than through Christ!

  • I believe the Lord is revealing the truth regarding frequency and energy. Including the healing properties in stones, herbs and such. I continue to pray into this. I have come to see another side to the use of natural stones just like herbs or alt medicine. We (or at least my husband and I) have been raised to believe that anything that looks or seems out of the “norm” is from the enemy. BUT what we did not do is seek G-d regarding these things on our own. I have sought the Lord and so far my thoughts and lifestyle are changing by His response. . The glory goes to G-d not any stone, herb, medicine, doctor etc. G-d created that stone that herb that energy for a purpose but not to be idealized. Please pray into and seek the Lord regarding the use of anything. Though something may be good for one person or one season it may not be good for another. Bless you all. Thank you Lord for revealing the truth!!

  • I too would like the answer toTammy’s question. I believe crystals and stones were created by God. Can they not have healing properties in them from Jesus? Can you not wear a quartz crystal to help focus your thought either in prayer to Jesus or to help us focus on a problem? If you look up what healing or protecting properties are in a stone, and you know anything good in stone is because it is a creation of God. Is it wrong to wear one for health or protection? As long as you honor Jesus Christ for giving any power of protection or healing is Devine from God in the amulet or pocket stone? I do not wish to offend Jesus or do something that is considered evil in Gods eyes

  • what if you are using them as jewelry because of what healing properties they have just like taking medicine or drinking tea or something. I believe in His healing power and he created the crystals but we also believe in medicine and herbs to heal along with prayer… & they did haev aaron wear them on the breast plate. I think they are beautilful and God put them here for a reason. But anything you use for evil is damnation…money…drugs…thoughts, anything…

  • If you’re using crystals to read the future, that’s divining and is sinful:

“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.” (Deuteronomy 18:10-11)

If you’re using them for sorcery, that’s sinful. If you’re using them to interpret omens, that’s sinful. If you’re using them to engage in witchcraft, that’s sinful. If you’re using them to cast spells, that’s sinful. If you’re using them as a medium, spiritist or for consulting the dead, you’d better believe that’s sinful.

  • What are the crystals going to be used for? If it is for anything related to socery or witchcraft, then you know the answer.

Why not tap into God’s supernatural power, which can do miracles, instead of the micky mouse stuff like crystals…

    Take care,

    The Prof

  • These are the only mentions of the word crystal in scripture – but the practice of using crystals does constitute a form of witchcraft

Job 28:17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it [shall not be for] jewels of fine gold.
Eze 1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature [was] as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
Rev 4:6 And before the throne [there was] a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, [were] four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
    Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light [was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Rev 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch

  • Not much, considering that the new-age movement was still centuries away.

There are plenty of references in the Bible though to agate, amethyst, onyx, sapphires, etc. God commands Moses and the Israelites to use all kinds of crystals in Aaron’s armor (Exodus 39). Jerusalem is described as being decorated in crystals like this too (Revelation 21:20).

  • Nothing. The Bible also doesn’t say anything about wearing a huge pair of granny panties on your head and running around Walmart! Have fun 🙂

      • It’s not that it doesn’t exist, that’s not what it says. It says ” 13 And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.” – New American Standard Bible. Any Bible would say about the same thing. sMh

    • And Genesis 51:3 says “Genesis 13:37 does not exsist outside of Dr.Noodle Ph.D. s head and that he need to go back church and learn the truth before quoting scripture to others:
ALSO Genesis 51:3 does not exist either (just so you dont go searching for your “name” in the bible.

    • That is not what Genesis 37:13 says, anyone can look up the verse “Genesis 37:13” on google and know what the true verse says. Im thinking you’re the imbecile to under estimate all these people.
