I’ve browsed a few books and a few things online about meditation, but most if not all of them in one form or another involve spirituality. For example, one source said to burn incense but not to look too long at it because the burning would taint your soul or something like that. Do you have any suggestions about where I can look into meditation tips that focus relieving stress and increasing focus in a practical fashion as opposed to a spiritual one?
One interesting thing is becareful with bad readings because you could change your life based on it. For example in my reading came out I wouldn’t be happy somewhere but deep inside I know. So tell me did you have a psychic reading, was it way off or true or in between. Serious responses are appreciated. Thanks
I’d like to hear anything you have to say about your meditation experiences. There are some very interesting answers here so far. I’ve mediatated in several different styles and I enjoy it a lot. I’m wanting to try out more different types. I know that ideally a person is supposed to stick with one type in order to gain the most benefit, but for now I just want to explore.
Borderline Zen Buddhist interests but more free thinking. I believe in Lao Tzu spoke truth. The name that can be names is not the eternal name. Formless is the beginning of heaven and earth. The named is the birth of ten thousand things. Some teacher told me when I was a child that the a great roman thinker warned us about boxing ideas and that it would eventually be our own undoing. I have no interest for Religious things but can respect it. More self help methodology on how to realize where and what exactly this is and how to help people...
