A vast number of statements and materials presented in the ancient Vedic literatures can be shown to agree with modern scientific findings and they also reveal a highly developed scientific content in these literatures.
I believe in it because I feel like I have done it before, but I know there are athiests or scientists that don’t believe in it even though hundreds of people can say that they either practice astral projection or have had an Out of Body Experience whether it be in a car crash or surgery. What is it and what actually happens? Can I get a good explanation? Thanks! 🙂
Am looking for more homeopathic ways to help heal stress and other problems, many claim some semi precious stones can help do this and more? I want to know if theres any evidence of it being true? Hi RM , Thanks for your answer, but why do they use Lithium so widely then? Or zinc? aren’t these the same lines of things?
Many people on this forum call themselves scientific and they cite references to popular literature when presenting evidence for their answers. What do you consider to be legitimate scientific websites or literature and why? How do you see scientific documents as different from documents created to attract web traffic or cater to the biases and opinions of the general public? Can you give some examples related to parapsychology?
I decided to do a persuasive speech for my Communication class on this topic after reading part of Experiments in Energy Healing by Gary E. Schwartz. Included were some interesting experiments that really seemed to suggest the existence of the body energy often referred to as “aura” or “chakra”. Any experiments or research done by trusty sources would be greatly valued. Thanks!
I love the show “Fringe” and Dr. Bishop always comes up with scientific theories on how mysterious things are happening. I was wondering if there are actually scientific theories on how these psychic abilities could be possible using the human mind. (Powered by Yahoo Answers)
I was watching a magician making something levitate and I know it was an illusion but it made me wonder if people actually can make thing move without any sort of real physical contact. (Powered by Yahoo Answers)
