My opinion is no one is religious, and what they do is just have sex, hoard money, then go on shopping sprees and buy lots of things that rot away at home, pass there time at home watching TV. And no one practises the Dhamma of the Buddha, called meditation.
The writing is Kanji (but it’s not Kobun, it’s something else). It’s possibly a passage from the dhamma, or was written during the period during which the dhamma was translated to Japanese. Any experts out there who can help?
