I just joined a coven, and they want me to have a witch name eventually. My high priest says, the sooner the better, so I want to have a name, but I don’t want to regret it one day, because after initiation I cant change it. I like the celtic mythology and I wouldn’t mind having a celtic name, but I don’t want anything like Great King, or High Magician or something pompous like that… Anyone got any tips?
I’ve just looked in my local paper to see what’s on the cinema this week and looked in the baby name announcements and seen that some couple (i don’t know them) have named their daughter Padme Alice!!! That makes me think of Padme Amidala from Star Wars!!! Maybe the name has a certain meaning to the parents, maybe not, they could just be big Star Wars fans. Still, Padme Alice? What’s next, a son named Anakin??? No offense to them, but i think Alice Padme might have been better. It says it’s their first child...
prefer my image of Jesus, As the Christ Conciousness which resides, hidden, waiting to be found, in our Heart Chakra. I believe that Jesus was a man who found the Conciousness and became Christed. Christ is a title not a name. It means messenger. So Jesus became the messenger of God. God is also a title meaning everything with no exclusions is a part of God. I know that a lot of you will not understand what I say, but thats your problem, not mine.
I’m in a Philosophy class and we have to write a short paragraph about a modern day Socrates gadfly. If you’ve taken the class before and you know what I’m talking about that’s great, but if not basically a gadfly is someone who upsets the status quo, stirs things up and gets people moving instead of just being stagnant. Any ideas would be great!
