i felt something like a dark cloud move over it followed by like a plunge into fear…how do i relight it and get that “fire” back inside

I feel that this vipassana form of meditation, that has not been praticed here for very long, is unseen threat to the sprit and the soul. There is just something about it that makes me wary of this and how it conflicts with Judeo-Christian and Muslim teachings.
