One of Machiavelli’s most controversial statements is: “A man who wishes to make a vocation of being good at all times will come to ruin among so many who are not good.” How would Lao-tzu respond to this statement? Under what conditions would such a statement become irrelevant?
I find it interesting that not only are their similarities between the teachings of Jesus Christ and Lao-tzu (as most religions mirror each other to a certain extent) but that their lives are a bit similar. What are your thoughts about this? Also please read and answer the question below http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApAWJoV4ZPxNdMY5f6ATMrjty6IX?qid=20070831194847AANdYNL
