Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore, trust the physician and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility.” – Khalil Gibran”
If you have ever read any work by Kahlil Gibran, do you find yourself completely distanced fromthe rest of the world? Is there anyone who feels like humans have been taking the wrong paths for some time and there is really no way for it to ever be coreected?
And what is your favorite piece by him? I’m a teen and fell in love with Gibran after reading “the lonely poet.” He is one of my all time favorite writers. Why do my friends think I’m weird for reading his work and not talking about prom or the moronic boys at our school?
