Sleep and meditation are both instances where our minds isolate our minds from the surroundings we are in. Is our mind conscious or aware of what is going on when we are meditating. I am a little confused on that.
Christians, when someone of a different religion has a near death experience, why do they see their god and not yours? Not really Christians specifically, any religious person. “Because their mind imagines the deity that they think they will see after they die. Why would they see a different one?” Why would they imagine a fake god when a ‘real’ one from another religion is right in front of them?

When I google image Buddha, there’s the fat buddha that everyone knows who’s really happy and a lot of people say rub my belly for goodluck. but then there’s the other Buddha, for example the giant statue of Buddha in Hong Kong. The more serious and in my opinion realistic. Why is this?
